Shangri-La Resort

"The resort was just as beautiful in person as it was online. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Renting a boat and jet skis were easy. We did have several of us who reserved spa treatments that were last-minute canceled due to absent staff, and none of the rooms had a microwave so we reheated our leftovers with a blow dryer. Other than that, all the dining options were satisfactory (we ate at Doc's and The Anchor), and we'll definitely be coming back."

"The house was clean and comfortable and is in a quiet neighborhood. There is ample parking for a truck and boat trailer. The house is well-stocked with nice cookware and dishes/silverware if you want to cook. It even has a dishwasher for easy cleanup. The shower has great water pressure and is a nice size. The back porch has a couple of Adirondack chairs to enjoy your morning coffee or hang out in the evening. We did not use the upstairs but it would be great for older children or teens since it is accessed by a ladder and has mattresses on the floor. This is a charming little place to stay!"

"The house was perfect for my family as we celebrate my dad’s 96th birthday. Having bedrooms downstairs was perfect so he didn’t have to traverse the stairs unless he wanted to. And the walk from the house to the dock was easy enough for him with no problem.To get to 2 of the upstairs bedrooms you have to either walk through another bedroom or take a ladder. A little inconvenient but it worked.The deck, kitchen, dining room and wall of windows were amazing for our group!The hosts were very responsive… we blew a breaker and they had the handyman out to reset it quickly. They also allowed us to check in early and stay longer, which was also amazing! As was accommodating the three dogs who joined our party.Would love to stay here again for next year’s celebration!!"

"This is the second time we’ve stayed with our 80# dog. This property is just perfect! The house is fully stocked with everything you could want or need. The dock had some damage recently but is fully usable."
