"Nice room, good price for NYC. Great shower, which I always appreciate. Convenient to A train so it would be easy to get around the city. For tourists I will note that the stretch of Canal Street just to the east of the hotel is a little rough. Not unsafe really but definitely an urban experience. But that's kind of a cool thing about the location that is classic NYC - a few blocks in any direction and you're in a totally different world - the high end shops of Soho to the north, upscale Tribeca to the south, Chinatown (and the small "Little Vietnam" blocks) to the east."

"The customer service was great. The room was excellent for the price. Neighborhood is very accessible and close to the NYSE and the battery is close by. Only negative thing would be the elevators being very slow but other than that I would come back and stay there"

"Fantastic stay with incredibly nice and accommodating staff. Super clean and had everything we needed, even had multiple options for entertainment. Location is especially nice because it’s walkable to so many great places in SoHo and easy to get to the trains. Right outside the hotel is SoHo diner, Lucia’s pizza, lemon tree bodega, and a Dunkin’ Donuts which gives you a ton of easy options for food and grocery. 100% recommend"

"I travel a lot to NYC but this is the first time I actually enjoy the location I stayed, the Finantial District is quiet, clean, slow paced and has great access to take the subway everywhere. This hotel was a great deal! Fantastic service and super clean "

"My husband and I chose to stay at The Beekman so we could obtain our marriage license at City Hall, which is just a quick walk away. We also had a photo shoot planned near City Hall, and the hotel’s location was perfect—right in the midst of downtown Manhattan’s iconic landmarks. The hotel itself is breathtaking, with gorgeous rooms, an impressive atrium, and a restaurant at its center. This hotel has such rich history, that they almost should do tours here! The food at the hotel restaurants was delicious, the service excellent, and the décor makes you feel like you’ve stepped back into old New York, where anything magical could happen. We’re already looking forward to returning. Located in the heart of downtown and a 5 minute walk from the Brooklyn Bridge, the hotel is also just a short walk from the Seaport District, another enchanting area filled with great dining options and views of ships in the harbor! That part of Manhattan truly feels special—like stepping into historic New York—and staying at The Beekman made our experience truly unique. "

"I love the Jane! Staff is always courteous and easy. My only complaint is that each floor always has one shower door that won’t stay open after use. Those showers smell because they never air out. Mildew smell is awful compared to the shower where the door is always open. I made this suggestion before but I guess it fell on deaf ears. I’ve stayed on every floor…shows how often I return. ;)) Other than that….I will always return"
