"Housecleaning never came during my 3 days there. The front desk attendants are not often at the desk, so you have to ring the bell"

"Very cold room, wouldn’t warm up. They forgot a drink on room service and when we checked out they could not give an itemised bill to see if we had been charged for it. Bathroom was not very private. Food good and bed comfortable but not clean, we brought our own sheet though."

"This hotel has gone downhill recently. They did not clean my room on the first day, despite me asking for this. When it was cleaned a few things were missed (some towels and tea bags not replaced). The breakfast was disappointing compared to what we saw previously - this time no eggs, hot chocolate or pancake syrup. The fruit, ham and yoghurt selection was not replenished. The fitness room did not have water, towels or cleaning wipes. Apart from that, the room is comfortable and quiet, and we like the location for Carolus Therme. There’s a supermarket close by. "

"Everything was good. Brilliant being able to book in online. Amazed about the electronic key the use of my mobile to open the door. What an amazing idea that I have never used before. Cleaned room, bed made which we did not expect. Booking out online if we wanted too. Superb. "
