"I arrived on a Monday but was disappointed to learn the restaurant was shut. Had to drive back into Düren for food. Germany doesn't seem to like Mondays! Hotel is good, if not slightly tired, but very clean and I slept well. My Monday evening disappointment was short lived following a very welcoming and wonderful breakfast. Very nice staff."

"Very interesting place for a hotelbto be located. Loads of history as the site of a very old Catholic Church and Priesthood school and learning centre. Also has its own brewery and vine yard. Great location for walking into Kerkrade centre."

"Sehr freundlicher Empfang der Besitzerin, die man allerdings vorher mit Angabe der Ankunftszeit anrufen muss, da der Empfang nicht permanent besetzt ist. Zimmer (unter der Dachschräge) sehr sauber und gut mit Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle, Kaffeemaschine und Schreibtisch ausgestattet. Wegen der Dachschräge ist die Kopfhaltung nicht immer optimal, aber für einige wenige Übernachtungsnächte erträglich. Zimmerservice hatten wir keinen, aber vielleicht ist das übers Wochenende normal. "Overpriced, in the middle of nowhere, nobody present. Online login didn’t work. Had to call multiple times to get in. Their system couldn’t send me a text or even an email. Hard to type in the 9 digit code in poorly lit hallway on a lousy keyboard that is so low that I had to kneel. Can’t get to this hotel with public transport "
