Not great design. Everything felt a little bit cheap and/or worn out.

Great hotel, loved our room and balcony overlooking the pool.
Rude staff from the moment i checked in. Room smelled like sewage , AC did not work. After a night of this and lots of stress and attitude from the girl at the front desk a manager did finally handled the situation and checked me out, was supposed to spend 3 nights there and i spent one. He did refund me which is what was acceptable. Was overall disappointing and threw my trip off. don’t believe the hype. I would rather stay at the trashy roadside motel they are emulate in an ironic "stylish" way. Can't say anything good about the place, most rude and unhelpful staff I have ever experienced. I don't like to review because I know people have off days but this was not an off day situation, the same girl at the desk was consistently rude as were other staff members.
Good location, restaurants and entertainment close by. The Comedy Store is about a 5 minute walk across the street. The Saddle Ranch steak house is even closer - excellent steaks there. Also the hotel's coffee shop was very good. Valets were great too. Room was clean and very comfortable bed and pillows. The downside to the hotel was very slow WiFi and a very noisy street with sirens blaring all night making it difficult to sleep but at least they leave a pair of earplugs in the room. It was a bit expensive to stay here, between the room and parking it was well over $300 a night.
