Kind front desk people and the lady who checked us in let us know about signing up to be a member would allow us to get a free breakfast, which we were grateful to receive as a perk. Beautiful and clean from entrance to room. Loved that check out was a little later than typical hotels. Breakfast was okay and a fair spread. Hotel was very convenient for the event we were attending and in walking distance to everywhere we could want to go. The only notable bummer is that the AC in the room is by motion detection and we run a little warm. We were really looking forward to sleep in a cool room and it was warm so we tossed and turned all night. The bed was comfortable but the room temperature definitely was not.

The Hyatt is well located in Pasadena. It was an easy walk to the Old Pasadena district with lots of dining and shopping options. It's only a couple of miles away from the Huntington Gardens, which is a must see. On site breakfast is good and reasonably priced compared to the other breakfast options in the area.
