Beautiful neighborhood close to the beach. Grocery, restaurants, and the beach easily within walking. The unit is clean, and comfortable, with a full kitchen. Great stay.
The vintage bungalow worked out great for our family of three. The full kitchen and sitting area allowed us to eat in and relax. The location provided easy access to other areas. It was a good desk too compared to hotels.
Tracey's bungalow was perfect for my 2 week stay in Long Beach. The location is great, with a quick, easy walk to the beach. The bungalow was super clean and well stocked, and Tracey is a gracious host. I would definitely stay here again.
We had a great time there, the place was clean and there was enough room. Only complaint is the coffee machine needed cleaned, coffee grounds in my coffee was not preferable. Everything else was great and the people in the complex were very friendly.
Such a lovely little place! Built in 1923 (according to Zillow) it was charming and had so much character! Great neighborhood close to the beach. We are already talking about going back next year.
This is a cute little unit with so much charm! Built in 1923 it is small but has great location. The neighbors are friendly. Great for pets. This is our second visit and look forward to coming back next year.
We chose to spend our 4th of July in Long Beach and really loved the location. The property manager and everyone in the building are super nice! The place need a little love but overall we had a great time. Thank you so much for hosting, we will be back! <3
My dogs and I had the pleasure staying here for a short period of time. It was a perfect size for us. This casita is nearby everything. In a nice neighborhood which we enjoyed walking around. Can walk to a lot of places. The kitchen had everything that you need. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking to be local or want just a quiet place to stay.
This little apartment is a wonderful taste of Old Long Beach. It is a beautifully decorated and comfortable place to stay while exploring the neighborhood. The neighbors are friendly and helpful. It had everything I needed to be comfortable for my 5-day stay. I loved that I could walk to the beach, restaurants, grocery store, whatever. I just hope it is available on any future trips!
We absolutely loved the neighborhood and being able to walk to the beach! Took lots of walks while we were there, close to local coffee/tea shops and breakfast and shopping. The condo is definitely older (husband looked it up and it was built 100 years ago!), but if you are okay with older/smaller spaces, it's a good place to stay for a weekend. Be careful, though, the hot water in the shower is unpredictable and does burn skin in an instant!
Its like staying in a late 30s early 40s hollywood movie. Reminds me of a bogart film, In a lonely place. Neibors were nice the hood was quiet. Walking distance to coffee shops for nice morning routine.
Unit is well equipt. Was a great base for our long weekend.
I needed a property that accepted pets while my condo was being termite treated. This is a small "beachy" themed bungalow that met our needs. The owner was responsive when the wifi and TV weren't working and came over to solve the issue. It's a nice area and a short walk to the beach and several restaurants.
Overall great stay. I would say the place is comfortable for 2 adults but gets cramped with any more than that. While it does sleep 3, there is only 2 beds so someone will have to share. Beautiful area and neighborhood, a ton of places to eat within walking distance and a good price compared to the rest of the availability in the area. The only other issue was the shower pressure not being good, but I think that's just an overall thing with the water issues in California. Also, parking can be challenging on Tuesday evenings as they collect garbage on Wednesdays and a lot of spots are taken up by receptacles.
This cozy unit in a well-maintained older building exceeded expectations. Both the bed and couch were comfortable for sleeping and there was a very ample supply of extra towels and bedding. Except for the mysterious absence of teaspoons, the kitchen was the best equipped of any I’ve encountered. The neighborhood is quiet and parking was always easy. While restaurants, coffee spots, pubs and, of course, the beach are all within walking distance the local ambience is residential. We especially enjoyed the original built-in cabinets and fixtures of this 1920-30s apartment. The host has clearly put thoughtful effort into making it welcoming for visitors.
I loved this apartment. First I was a little worried about booking a smaller place for me and my grandson for 5 nights, but turned out to be a great stay. The apartment gets alot of sun light which made it so warm, inviting and you know the beach is so close. I usually don't like soft beds but I slept so good on the murphy bed. The kitchen worked out well for me to cook a dinners and breakfast. We had good luck with parking each day. We walked to the beach on several occasions. We also walked to a nice breakfast spot called the The Library Coffee House. Grocery store is about a 5 minute drive away. Just a great location and the neighbors were really nice. I would definitely stay here again if there is availabilty.
My daughter recently moved to Cali and has actually stayed in this same unit — she is just a 3 min walk away! She recommended us this unit. We plan on coming back a few times a year and will be staying at your place as long as it is available. We did not use the kitchen as we ate our nightly while she was showing us around - so convenient to walk everywhere. The unit was clean. I was a little worried about the bed being a double size, but my husband and I were fine. The tub is a little bit of a high step in and out - the water pressure could be a little stronger. There were plenty of towels for showers. Like I said, we will be back if this unit is available.
This is a great hideaway in Long Beach. Property was clean, check-in easy, and great location to beach and restaurants.
Great place to stay for a weekend!
