It's in DTLA so that should explain the area you're in but the hotel is safe and very pretty. Our room was wonderful and clean and the bed was comfortable. The down side is there is no hotel parking, they use a parking lot around the block and walk your way back. I would recommend this hotel just be careful when you're outside.

We’ve stayed here now two years in a row for kcon! It’s our favorite hotel we’ve ever stayed in. The staff is always very nice and helpful. The rooms are big and clean. It’s not too bad of a walk to the conventions center too so it’s a perfect place to stay! We will always come back here each year for kcon!

DTLA is really terrible, nothing they can do about that. Room was moderately clean but they seem to have taken the industrial chic aesthetic too far and the room was pretty unattractive because of it. Staff were great.
