Couple in Loreto

Nice room, just off the main plaza. Access to everything downtown , restaurants, mission, shops all with in walking distance. Generally quiet, noisy in the morning due to plaza activity.Small bed, good thing we are a married couple.

Always fantastic!! Just a heads up to staff...the air conditioner in #8 needs a little maintenance, noisy and drips water. Other than that, one of my favorite places to stay!

El hotel está limpio y nuevo. Pero tuvimos varios temas, pero NO incluye el desayuno que ofertan antes de reservar, el cuarto no tiene cortinas blackout como igual lo anuncian y la televisión NO sirve. La verdad para pagar 3,500 pesos y nisiquiera funcione la tele pues creo que hay más opciones mejores donde quedarte. El personal no es tan amable y me parece publicidad engañosa por qué no incluye lo que se ofrece

The hotel is located right in downtown Loreto. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the beach. Breakfast was good and the rooms were nice. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I would recommend this hotel to anyone going for the first time to visit.

Hotel 1697 is truly a hidden gem located right off the main plaza. This was our 4th time staying here after trying a few others in the area. The rooms are always very clean and the beds are comfortable. The staff are helpful , the breakfast is delicious, served poolside. What a great way to start your day!

Very dissapointing

We spent $250 USD for a room that the bathroom door didn't close, the shower came out with no pressure, it would be scalding hot then get freezing cold instantly. There was no shelf to put any of your belongings on. The people above us sounded like they were moving furniture all night. When we tried to check in we were told the office was open at 12, we came back at 12 they told us 1 pm, the person that checked us in didn't understand english or speak any english, so could answer no questions. It is a cute concept but needs a lot of work or lower the price.
