A grand old house in perfect, perfect decorative order with attentive staff and good food. Two minutes walk away from the hoi polloi of the village, it was an excellent choice for our stay

Thanks to Stephanie and Andrew for their wonderful hospitality and the top tips for exploring the area! The room was lovely and spacious, the parking was easy and we really enjoyed the breakfast. We would definitely recommend this lovely B&B.

Best guest house we’ve ever stayed at in Looe, friendly and very helpful couple, nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast was very yummy and good quality food too! Room was very clean and perfect, everything you would need away from home! Definitely be staying again soon

Amazing two night stay
We had a lovely two night stay at the Dolphin. Stephanie and Andrew were perfect hosts and made us feel at home. They gave us lots of advice about the area. The accommodation was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Lots of choice at breakfast which was delicious. Convenient free parking and a brilliant location for Looe centre and beach. We would definitely recommend.

We were offered a lovely cup of tea on arrival which we drank in the conservatory overlooking the river. Here Stephanie, very helpfully, informed us of lots of good things in the area worth a visit. The guest house is lovely and beautifully maintained and the breakfasts were superb, well worth TWO GOLD STARS. Xx We will definitely love to stay again when we are in the area. Xx Should add it had its own designated parking, and the guest house is brilliantly situated for the town and travel links.

Lovely place, lovely hosts, nice breakfast, allocated parking. Only downside is the climb up the steps to get to the door (this is normal in Looe).

We were made extremely welcome by owners. Nothing was too much trouble. Attention to detail was second to none. I would recommend Dolphin House to anyone looking for a pleasant stay in Looe.

Exceptional hosts. Beautiful room and lovely breakfasts made from fresh local produce. Nothing was too much trouble for Andrew and Stephanie, the hosts. Highly recommended.

Stephanie and Andrew are warm and gracious hosts - best cooked breakfast we’ve had in our 2 weeks in UK by far! The guest house is lovely and comfortable with places to sit and lookout over the river and boats - a winner!!

Just had a great 3 night stay at the Dolphins. Stephanie and Andrew were most welcoming and friendly. Room had a great view of the river, very comfy and clean and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The breakfast was lovely and very tasty. Nice to see that the food was local. Would definitely recommend and we would stay here again.

Perfect stay in Looe
We had a fabulous time staying at the dolphin. The service was faultless and Stephanie and Andrew were very accommodating & perfect hosts. The breakfast menu was very extensive and food is cooked to order & first class. We would highly recommend the dolphin as its the perfect location for a stay in Looe.

The people Andrew and Stephanie who run the dolphin guest house are amazing made us feel at home from the start to the end couldn't meet nicer people and the hotel is lovely and the views are to die for!

The dolphin is very well maintained very clean and tidy and very nicely decorated, not very good for disabled people the house is high up so to get to it there is a big sloop and steps .

Simple SUPERB
A simple 10/10, the moment you arrive it's like meeting friends, Stephanie and Andrew are fantastic hosts. The B&B IS SUPERB, VERY clean and well maintained to a high standard. our room was fantastic, had a great view over the estuary, had all the bits and pieces needed. Cracking touch was the shot of rum on arrival.. Only way to find out is to go!!

Home from Home. The definitive Guest House.
Little point repeating the many plaudits but it is true to say we felt that we arrived as guests and left as friends. From the many offers of advice, cups of tea, and general chats Andrew and Stephanie were the perfect Guest House hosts. I even enjoyed finding the one Wifi reception spot and balancing on one leg facing south with an arm in the air in order to get my emails!!! Close to town, overlooking the estuary you will find a very warm welcome here. The lovely breakfasts were the icing on the cake.

The room was superb ,spotless and lots of nice touches. Guest house warm and inviting. Breakfast was perfect fabulous selection and cooked to perfection.the location couldn't be better for walking into looe. Best quality stay
We are new to guest houses, preferring hotels. This first outing has set the benchmark incredibly high. The hosts, the quality, the attention to detail were all of the very highest standard. We were made to feel very welcome from the start. The room had a lovely view of the river. The furnishings were of a high standard. Free parking over the road. Bit of a climb to the door if your less mobile. Nice biscuits! We had a drink in the lounge / verandah area enjoying the (damp) view outside in the evening before going out to eat, and the breakfast in the morning was perfect and set us up for the whole day. The main thing I think was the feeling that the hosts genuinely cared that we had the very best experience. Thanks Peter and Jean.

Lovely hotel, overlooking the river.
3 very pleasant nights spent in this wonderful hotel. Room very comfortable, bed extremely comfortable. Breakfasts outstanding. Owners Jean and Peter really nice, friendly and so accomodating. Made our stay all the more enjoyable. Provided us with a list of restaurants, bars etc as recommended by them. Perfectly lovely stay. Would definitely return and recommend.
