"McIntosh Country Inn was surprisingly amazing and a real hidden gem. The staff were so friendly and accommodating especially the gentleman that fulfilled my request for a quiet and private space for a meeting in the evening I could not take from my room. Also, the riverfront park and walkways are an incredible way to experience a gorgeous portion of the magnificent and historical St. Lawrence River. This was actually a huge surprise for us and a real unexpected treat in the community. The restaurant was also superb with a great and cheap - that’s right cheap - happy hour with $5/$6 pints of beer and the best liver and onion dinner I’ve ever had. And nope I’m not a senior, just love it! "
