"This was a wonderful overnight stay. We had all the comforts of home and a delicious breakfast. There are many areas to sit and relax, as well as the front porch. The owners made as feel very comfortable. We would definitely stay again."

"This is a lovely, very comfortable light-filled home with a full-length deck overlooking the water. At the end of a deadend road, it is quiet and peaceful. The photos of the listing do not do it justice. If you are looking for a place to relax, this fits the bill, but there is plenty to do nearby and Acadia National Park is close enough for a day trip. We spotted a humpback whale one evening and saw eagles daily. We had several fires in the firepit. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of seating in the living spaces. We can’t say enough nice things about this property and the host. This ranks as one of our best VRBO experiences."

"I'm very allergic to dogs and was worried about staying in a pet friendly place. Carolyn the host assured me she understood the situation and would have an extra deep clean done prior to our arrival. I didn't sneeze once! It's a 200 year old house that has been super well cared for. If anything the downstairs air conditioning (something we never used to need in Maine) keeps everything as cold as you would like.The kitchen is extremely well equipped and super clean.And Carolyn was wonderful to interact with... thank you!"

"The house was fantastic. We were a big group, six adults and six kids, and we were all able to sleep comfortably and the house never felt too small. Having the pool was a game changer with kids especially during a very hot week in August. The host was very communicative and helpful. Really no complaints!"

"This home was perfect for our family needs. We have 3 teenage boys that loved claiming the entire upstairs as their own. They spent a lot of time in the garage game room. I appreciated the full laundry room and dishwasher. We also loved the water views, deck and grill. The mini splits kept the whole house comfortable."

"This property was a great place for our extended family of 6 adults a 7 year old and an 11 month old. Plenty of space indoor and outside and many amenities.Beautiful scenery, adorable house and a host who was accommodating and on top of things. Close to quaint towns and shops but privately situated on beautiful property. We felt right at home and all plan to return to this lovely home."
