"This is a clean and convenient place to stay, motel rooms are best suited for one person. Everything is there that you will need but very small, especially the bathroom with tiny shower stall, not suitable for larger people. Overall the room is suitably appointed but the bathroom is in need of some updating, especially the floor and floor trim which shows moisture wear. There is some road noise at night, the road is well traveled day and night. No indication of mold or damp smell. The staff is very responsive and friendly, housekeeping services are available by request and not automatic."

"Wonderful waterfront views and quite walkable to all the downtown restaurants and shops. Still retains several old cottage features, though, like a steep set of stairs to the second floor, a tight shower stall, some aging carpeting and paint and the laundry machines are down in a dark, low basement which we opted not to use and took ours to a laundromat in town instead. That said, the location and views are terrific so despite the quirks we’ll hope to return again."

"We had a great week’s stay in this cottage. The location is perfect for exploring the mid-coast of Maine, and the house is very comfortable with small touches that make it an easy home base. Highly recommend."

"Very clean and comfortable with fabulous views. Well stocked with everything you need to enjoy your stay. I was disappointed that the kayak seen in two of the photos is not available for use. The bath tub, which was very nice, is rather tall which made it extremely difficult for one of our party to step in and out without assistance. Fabulous water pressure! The fireplace was great for the one cool evening we had."
