An historic city that is working hard to move past its more recent troubles. A good base to visit the Giant's Causeway or a day trip to Belfast. Very walkable and felt safe to me notwithstanding the local police station that was well fortified.

Nice quiet town, easy walking, nice shops, wall walk and St Columb's Cathedral great, plenty of good food outlets, taxis cheap to get around, friendly helpful people everywhere
