"We were not told upon booking that there would be a wedding going on with a thumping DJ going at it until 2:00-3:00am. Good music, but hard to sleep even when exhausted.
Called for late check out, 25 pounds an hour. We said we’d stay until 1:00 (2 extra hours) they phoned our room at 12:15 saying we could not stay as they were fully booked for the evening.
We rushed to get out of the room - they still charged us for both hours - even more actually because it was a 55 pound charge!!...
"Would have expected air con or a fan in a four star hotel. Also my room next to an area where people were chatting very loudly - not very pleasant. It should be marked as a quiet area."
