We had such a lovely stay at Julia's place. Amazing location, the accommodation was fantastic, clean and so comfortable and the hosts could not have been anymore helpful!
Our hosts were amazing in making sure we settled in well. The place was spotless and so comfortable. Its proximity to the town centre and Wimbledon Common was fantastic. Loved our stay and hopefully will be back again.
Very nice property in a safe neighborhood with access to everything that we needed. Host was very responsive and pleasant to deal with. Would definitely stay there again when we are in London.
Located in the heart of Wimbledon Common. A perfect place to explore the area and wider london. Accommodation is of a very high standard. The owner was incredibly accommodating and helpful. Would not hesitate to return in a heart beat.
We loved our stay in Wimbledon at this lovely place.
Surrounded by beautiful greenery and directly across from the spectacular common.
This place was perfect for our family to unwind and relax.
Julia was an amazing host who was very helpful throughout our stay.
Stayed in this beautiful flat in Wimbledon for 7 nights in April. Very clean and a fantastic location. Loved the green space across the street. Julia was a great host and communicated quickly and also had a wonderful treat basket for us. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.
We really enjoyed ourselves during our stay. We were walking about 10 miles per day and this house was great to come back to and relax afterwards. There is a nice park area across the street and the village with plenty of options is a short 5 minute walk. The hosts were great and made everything easy checking in and out. Highly recommended!
The location is beautiful, the property well appointed and the beds super comfortable! We really enjoyed our stay with access to London and surrounds with a comfy place to call home after full days of sightseeing. Julia and Tony are wonderful hosts who share the privilege of staying in this glorious part of London. I’ll push again the comfortable beds for jet lagged travelers!
The place is really nice, really clean. The location is perfect. Beautiful neighborhood with nice shops and restaurants all within walking distance. Also a lot parks in the area for a nice walk or run. Would def stay again whenever I’m in London again. Thank you Julia for everything!
We couldn’t ask for a better stay. Julia welcomed us, a family of four with two teenagers, warmly and provided all the details, including a full list of all the good eateries in the area. With its location, fully equipped kitchen, super comfortable beds and the coziness of the surrounding area, we definitely felt at home.
The transportation was super easy with the efficient bus, train and tram system.
The property, location and communication with the owner simply could not have been any better. We had a fantastic weekend in London and this place struck a perfect balance of being in a lovely location outside of the hustle and bustle, but within easy reach of getting into the city centre. The owner was a pleasure to deal with and went the extra mile to ensure we had a great stay. I can't recommend this place highly enough.
My wife and I loved this property and it’s location. Julia was a wonderful host and was very accommodating. Everything was great, but the cleanliness of the property need’s special mention. Perfect! I hope we get to return someday!
2 good size bedrooms and bathroom upstairs, well stocked kitchen with dining table. Limited comfy seating. Very useful parking space. Very helpful host.
Lovely property in a fantastic location, we wish we could have spent more time here. Julia was lovely and was there to meet us even though we got to the house later than planned. We came for a wedding at the Royal Wimbledon Golf Course which was only a short walk away across the beautiful common. The house is very well presented, has all the amenities you need and literally a 2 minute walk from the lovely Wimbledon Village with lots of great shops and restaurants. Will definitely be back to explore the area and will bring the kids next time as plenty of room for them to stay too.
Jules was an amazing host. We stayed over Halloween with two children age 5 and 10 and she had thought of them ahead of check in, with some thoughtful decorations and treats as well as books and games. She also gave great recommendations.
The location was ideal close to lovely shops, deli’s and restaurants. We went into the centre of London for two days of our trip which was easily accessible.
The accommodation itself was fabulous. Clean, lovely decor and fully equipped. We would love to go back.
Walking up the street to the flat is breathtaking, with grand homes and a stunning view of the common. The home was brightly lit, warm and welcoming. There was the most thoughtful hamper of supplies that made our time there so convenient and delicious Our family was there for the Sunday street market, which was a 30 second walk from the flat and contained some of the most delicious food options. The train station is a manageable walk, so Kew Gardens and Central London were both equally easy to access. Everything about the flat was well appointment and just so lovely! We would recommend this home to even the most discerning traveler.
The house is located in a quiet spot in the center of Wimbledon. The car can be parked at the house. Public transport is within walking distance and you can be at Picadilly Circus within 30 minutes. Julia gave us a warm welcome and had many suggestions for restaurants in Wimbledon. The house is tastefully decorated. There is an excellent kitchen with everything available and there was milk and water in the refrigerator. There was tea, coffee and snacks, which we really liked. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds are good. The bathroom had shower gel and shampoo and the towels were nice and thick. It's also nice that a hairdryer is available. There were even adapter plugs for charging our phones. The house has a beautiful view of a park with a large pond. Wimbledon is a green oasis in London with nice shops, wonderfully close to the city but still quiet and very cozy. We thought it was a very nice place to stay for a few days. Thank you Julia!
My adult daughter and I have great fondness for London and have often stayed in the city center during our trips. We wanted to try something different this visit and after reading the extraordinary reviews for this property, we were intrigued. Absolutely delighted that we booked.
What a joy this entire stay was, from the very beginning when we were greeted by the lovely owner, Julia. She was so kind and helpful with directions to nearby restaurants, shops and grocery, and was available throughout the stay whenever we had a question.
The cozy comfort of the 3-story immaculate property made us feel completely at home with a private entrance where we could come and go as we pleased.
Bus and underground transport was within walking distance, taking us to and from Central London quickly and easily. It was so nice to return to the beautiful flat after a busy day to just relax and unwind or enjoy a walk around the Common, right outside our front door.
Wimbledon Village is minutes walk with incredible shops, traditional British pubs, and excellent restaurants (we recommend the Sunday roast at The Black Lamb).
We can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay at this Wimbledon flat, and look forward to visiting here again, hopefully in the very near future.
