This pod was great for a short stay and in a great location. to walk to the Southbank. Only downside is that we didn't receive the check in information until an hour later than the check in time which was a tad frustrating.

Stow-Away had some of the most efficient use of time and space I’ve ever seen! All staff were friendly and answered FaceTimes, emails and calls promptly. Stow-Away was incredibly accomodating with early check in and late check out. Loved the proximity to the Tube, Big Ben, London Eye and other key tourist attractions & grocery stores everywhere kitchenette made our lives so easy at night. Loved it here and WE WILL be coming back soon!!!

Even if the room is not ready yet.... could you pls provide the password from main door for guest to wait in the lobby. It's freezing for us to waiting outside the premise. The window blind is not working, the rest is as expected.

Please note that the stowaway is a unmanned property and our check-inn time is 4pm and all the password to the main entrance and the apartments gets activated by 3.45pm, but still you have the access to the lobby area. If you are planning to visit us again in the near future and planning of arriving early please request a early check-in so we will try our best to keep your room ready. Good - Modern and clean Help yourself hot drinks Bad - trains and track noise made it impossible to sleep Street is a bit rough, I encountered police chasing down someone on the street didn’t feel safe as I almost got hit by them..

Really good. Excellent communication throughout. Access to the property was straightforward. Good location close to tube station and shops. The studio was very well equipped, kitchenette more so than expected as had a combo grill microwave as well as a portable induction hob. Hot powerful shower. There was the train noise as covered in other reviews but actually this didn’t really disturb me which was a surprise as I forgot my ear plugs and am used to quiet. A big improvement on usual central London broom cupboard sized hotel rooms I will definitely use again

Great location. Stayed 2 nights. Did not expect a complete lack of hot water in the shower or both basins despite requesting this be fixed. Communication from Stowaway was uninterest initially they tried to claim this was fabricated until invited to come and see for themselves. Despite this they did not provide a solution for our stay ie. They did not fix the problem or provide us with another room. Do not stay here unless you love freezing cold showers.

This was a great find! Everything you need and perfectly designed for a cozy stay for a night. I read the reviews before arriving, so was armed with earplugs for the sounds of Waterloo trains, so even that didn't bother me at all. Location - fantastic. Shower - dreamy. Bed - surprisingly comfortable. Definitely booking again

My spouse and I stayed for one night. We were very happy with the accomodations. Sleek rooms with everything you could need in the kitchen (including a dishwasher, microwave, and hot plate). The bed was a nice king size, shower pressure was good, the electric blinds blacked out the room, and cool USB charging ports bedside. Our morning was a little hectic with the fire alarm going off. The fire brigade came and turned it off. I'm not sure if this is a common occurance because the rooms don't have any option for extra ventilation while cooking.

Over all decent stay. Very loud in the morning being right next to waterloo station. Had trouble with the code entry and was locked out of my room because the code I was given stopped working. After speaking with support the issue was solved. Tidy and effecient unit, cleaning service was friendly.

Lovely stay, so close to where we needed to be and check in at any time is perfect - only issue was when we where leaving the police had tapped off infront of the hotel due to a fight that happened the night before. We didn’t hear a peep so sounds proof rooms I guess?

Loudest place I’ve ever stayed
For a woman travelling alone, I would not advise staying here. The back of the property is open air which I did not notice before booking (it is in the pictures but in the later half of the gallery). It is the loudest place I have ever stayed with trains regularly going by but also with the busy wine bar situated on the ground floor of the property. My shower flooded the bathroom and room due to poor drainage which was fixed promptly however maintenance left wet, dirty towels all over the floor. The staff I spoke to were all nice and helpful however I would definitely not recommend staying here to anyone. It is also cold, for which there is a small fan heater provided, however I can imagine this is not man enough in the Winter.

The lift didn’t work, he electricity kept cutting out, the communication was terrible, we didn’t receive our room code until ten minutes after we complained, and the (remote) staff were no help whatsoever. Terrible, to the point of dangerous, with the electricity and lights cutting out all the time. Unacceptable. I would never recommend this stay to anyone and I’m surprised Expedia has them on their books as it is detrimental to their good name and reputation.

London marathon stay
We were staying for the London marathon. It was perfect location and super easy to get through security to the room. The only issue was that there was a lot of noise from the bar downstairs but you’re in London so that’s to be expected I suppose! The bathroom was super clean and the bed was really comfy. Would definitely stay again.

If you want somewhere that has a mini kitchen and fridge as well as a dishwasher this is great. Shower good. Lovely touch having the toiletries. It was quite noisy from the trains. The air conditioning kept going back up to 27degrees on its own and was noisy which was unpleasantly hot! and annoying. The fire alarm went off at 8.30am so that wasn’t good but l guess couldn’t be helped. The staff l met were lovely and helpful.

Lovely room, some sleeping difficulties
The room was brilliant. Really well laid out and comfortable. Great shower. Main bug bearer was the light in the lobby on a pir which would turn on at night with the slightest of movements, it also made a lovely little clicking noise which led to me not getting good sleep both nights. The tv could also only be turned off at the wall which was difficult as the tv was fixed right to it on a bracket. You could also hear the trains coming from Waterloo station from earlier 5am (obviously close to station but as you are In a container the sound proofing isn’t amazing)

Cute technology but too glitchy
The hotel is in fact 20 shipping containers stacked over four stories. The layout and comfort of the room was good and it had a kitchenette. The management of the check in process in my case was chaotic because there is no staff on site and the assistance available took a full hour trying to get me into my room, failed and left me to my own devices. It turned out that a crucial email containing entry codes had been sent to Expedia rather than to me. It's a fragile system with too many things that can go wrong and in my case most of them did.

Sleek but COLD and LOUD
The room was modern and sleek, but the trains are incredibly loud, and the room got very cold -- the heating unit felt broken. There was also a funny smell coming from the bathroom.

Not for me.
I disliked the experience. It was hard to get access and although the property has a novelty value and is well located, I just wished that I had stayed in a traditional hotel.

Unusual but good
Interesting place and good location. One small point is the noise from the adjacent tube line/station as this runs until 2am and is quite loud. Otherwise ideal and had everything we needed and really clean. Easy check in and out.

Lots of big cobwebs in the corners of the room, otherwise very clean. One positive was how well stocked the kitchen was with utensils and apparatus although I didn't use any. Downside was how noisy the apartment is, it's above a restaurant, and extremely close to Waterloo so you hear and feel trains throughout the night.
