Great stay
Superb location -2 min walk to underground, 5 to groceries, 8 to pubs. Ronan was v responsive and easy to work with. Didnt use the fireplace- not sure its functional, same regarding windows- but all else works fine. Note: no tumble drier, just rack.Couldnt get better location.
This is a basement flat, which I didn’t understand. It worked out fine and was a great place to stay. Easy to get to the tube with 2 very good lines to take you anywhere you need to go. Everything you need is provided - hairdryer (for those of us from 110 countries) tea, washer, etc. thanks for a nice stay.

Overall, we were very happy with the quality and comfort of this property. While this was a very nice property, close to the tube and grocers, there were a few things that could be improved. It was a little dusty which aggravated allergies. The kitchen could be better equipped (cheese grater, please). Finally, there was not enough toilet paper or hand soap.
Despite these issues, I would not hesitate to recommend this property.

Property was fine although dishes not clean. Careful here as he was happy to take multiple days extra after the nanosecond automatic acceptance of my mistake. He refused to work with me just as it says in the listing. VRBO “support is nonexistent for this either.
I can go on and on but let me just say this: The flat is adorable!! It was a great size and had all the amenities we needed during our stay, including amazing-smelling hand soap in the restroom! The location cannot be beaten. It is on a quiet side street, right around the corner from Earl's Court Underground station. It was so convenient!
Our host, Ronan, always responded quickly and was so gracious, kind, and helpful.
I imagine our next trip to London will include another stay at this flat (IF it is available!) :) :)
The place was exactly as described. You may want noise-canceling headphones or earplugs to sleep as the upstairs neighbor's footsteps are so loud they will wake you in the middle of the night. As someone who lives in a house and not the city or apartment this was quite jarring (I have lived in the city and in an apartment and the insulation in this one was poor. VERY noisy).
If you can stand the noise or bring earplugs this flat is great. Perfect location to get to places easily.
I have been planning this trip to London for a long time and was quite nervous about renting my first VRBO…but I was not disappointed. Based on prior reviews, it seems that the owner has recently revived the flat. The decor is exactly as you see in the pictures. My daughter and I stayed for a week. We were very comfortable here and felt very safe in this neighborhood. The location is fantastic…a short walk to Earls Court tube and easy access to all the major sites in London. The only downside was the mattress which was quite firm. However, I think this can easily be remedied with a memory foam mattress topper or something like that. I would have no problem staying here again.

The property is in a very good location, which we appreciated, but there were a number of areas that need attention to improve the guest experience. The shower pressure was very weak, and we noticed mold in both the Brita filter and the washer. The utility room door also wouldn’t stay closed. It didn’t appear that the home had been professionally cleaned before our arrival, as there was leftover makeup from a previous guest, an empty tissue box, and no hand towels provided. The beds were clean but quite firm, and the pillows were not very comfortable. Only shampoo was available (no conditioner), and the outdoor bench was unfortunately too dirty to use. With more thorough cleaning and some basic updates, this property could be much more enjoyable. The location is a highlight, but overall, the details need more care.
The most important aspect of VRBO for us is good night’s rest! This bed was super hard. We dreaded coming back to sleep on it every night. The owner said they got a luxury topper but it was very thin like a light duvet. We were even trying to find our own topper because the bed was so uncomfortable. The owner really needs to put some money into that bed situation. Also there was not any counter space in the bathroom and only one hook to hang towels. The furniture looks very dirty. The flat was clean and the location was great but we would’ve changed after the first night if we could have.
We enjoyed our visit esp. the close access to Earls Court Tube (District and Piccadilly lines), M&S Food, Boots and local pubs. Host was quick to communicate and we had no issues while staying.
My mom, daughter (18), and I enjoyed three nights at this flat. We loved the location with easy access to transportation, groceries, and restaurants. The beds were a little firmer than we’re used to, but we managed to slept well. We appreciated the effort the owner made to make us feel welcome- especially the coffee! Would stay here again!
Very cute little flat that had everything we needed for a comfortable stay in London. Neighborhood was safe and location was close to the tube and great restaurants. Thank you for the excellent accommodation.
Convenient location. Close to tube and bus stop.
Place felt dusty. Expect nothing if staying here other than access to the property: no coffee, no pleasantries, no instructions on how to use anything.
We loved staying here!! It’s the perfect location near the Earls Court tube station, making it so easy to get to the flat from Heathrow. Everything was so clean and worked perfectly. The only thing that wasn’t great was the mattress, as it’s not very comfortable. But, it’s a king size bed which made it so we both had plenty of room! I highly suggest staying here.
This is a great little flat in Earl’s Court. Tube station is just 2 blocks away. We found the Tesco and the Tube our first day there and had everything we needed. Earl’ Court Road provides good eateries close by. Felt safe and was so quiet at night. We slept well, had breakfast each day in the flat before our days adventuring. A great choice all around for our London visit.
The location of the property is great — just outside Earl’s Court tube station and very easy to access the hotspots of London. However, the accommodations were not as fine as described. There was food leftover in the furniture and only 1.5 rolls of toilet paper for our 4-day stay. Wifi initially didn’t work, but was later fixed.

Overrated yet well located
Owner was super responsive on line before the stay. Great location (though it should be disclosed that the Earls Court tube runs under the place 24/7) in a safe neighborhood.
Flat is tired and needs updating and attention to greater detail for the price. Rug in living/sleeping area has a large hole in it, mattress not very firm, throw blanket is worn, and be forewarned in colder weather that there is no heat other than small electric units that are minimal.
Courtyard outside entrance needs power washing, new bench and painting. It is quite weathered and not attractive to sit in.
Appliance instructions would be a help for those who don't know how to use the steam oven (easily mistaken for a microwave). While there is a small washing machine, there is no dryer.
Overall, pictures on line must have been taken at least several years ago. Be aware: if you choose this place for your stay, it's the location you are paying for, not the amenities.

Not as described
Communicated directly with the owner on property condition when we arrived, owner was away on holiday but responded right away with an offer to refund in full if we wanted to move out.
Property is is worn out and in need of deep cleaning, painting and refresh of decor and kitchen items. Description of property and photos of property is not as described, property is run down. I communicated with owner directly and also now see that recent previous tenants commented on condition, I agree with their comments.
We had to make it work as we had no time to meet with his people to check out, address issues or find another place and move on short notice. I booked this place 7 months in advance and relied on description and super host rating. I did some cleaning out of old food, and prior tenant toiletries as well as washed the front door, hand washed the cutlery and and relocated the bag of rat traps stored above the kitchen cabinets to another cupboard. Patio is filthy.
This could be a great place if its fixed up but no where near the 5 star quality luxury on a budget property he alludes to. Owner is free to rent and charge whatever he wants but should not mislead the pictures and condition of the rental. Location is convenient - clean linens.
Note- remodel underway across the street and another 2 doors down. Scaffolding is up and construction hammers and saws begin early morning during the week-no problem if you are early risers and don’t mind the noise.
We spent a week this Christmas holiday in this darling London flat. I took my 12 and 20 year old daughter for a winter girl’s getaway. There
Was ample room for all of us. We cuddled every evening in the giant bed after full days of trekking about the city. We were so thankful to escape the bustle and congestion of the inner city to return to our quaint and peaceful bungalow. The neighborhood is very safe and close to the tube. The local co op has handy groceries and bites for easy treats. This is a perfect holiday spot. Enjoy!
So comfortable that by the time I left I felt like I lived there. This place is exactly like it looks in the pictures and has everything you need for a homey stay. The train at Earl’s Court is even closer than I thought it would be and the fact that it’s in Zone 1 with access to multiple lines can’t be overstated for convenience and economy. The surrounding neighborhood is quintessential London and any service you could need is within a few minutes walk. I felt safe and slept great! It was remarkably quiet and the garden apartment stays nice and dark in the morning with the shades drawn which I loved! For the money you will not find a better place.
