Buyer Beware
From the beginning of my stay, everything felt off. We had difficulty obtaining the key due to miscommunication which cost us about an hour and a mile of walking (as the key isn’t in the actual apartment, but a whole separate business a long ways away). We were made to down load the “whatsapp” app to receive videos and instructions. I just couldn’t believe we had to do this when there is messaging capabilities within the VRBO app itself.This listing also misrepresents the level of accessibility due to having not one, but two brutal staircases, some sections with no railing to hang on to. The listing did not show any pictures of stairs. Very difficult to get our luggage up two flights to the bedrooms and past damage on the walls is evident of the struggle to get up these stairs. And yes, the bathrooms are on the top level so one needed to climb all of the stairs to use the toilet. Sensing that we were upset with the misrepresentation of the listing, the host stopped responding to our questions. The kitchen was not fully stocked as the listing states. There were no pots and pans making the oven and cooktop unusable. The TV was not operational.The listing says that there are two bedrooms with king size beds which was not true, although comfortable, they were queen size at best. I feel the host needs to update the VRBO listing so customers are aware of what they are getting for their money.
