The Bastei bridge towers 194 metres above the Elbe River in the Sandstone Mountains of Germany.

In 1824, a wooden bridge was constructed to link several rocks for the visitors but then replaced with a sandstone bridge in 1851.

"I wish we had more than one night at Landhaus Buttner. The house was very clean and had tons of room and ammenities. The kids loved the bunk room and we all enjoyed the dining and tv room. Also, the deck and view were a great bonus. Very conveniently locaed, as you can walk everywhere. Thomas the owner was great to work with and he was extremely helpful in providing fun things to do. If you go in the summer, don't miss the Summer Toboggan run."
