"Amazing breakfast and great staff in a beautiful small town. Great overall value but having stayed more than once I’d recommend the room upgrade. Other pubs walkable from the Dragon if you choose including one that shows sports just up the road. Food, drink and the setting at the Dragon are wonderfully welcoming and comfortable on a cold night and of course, there’s a beer garden for the summer. "

"The room was small and basic. The floor of the room ( 10 ) was on a slope so that when I first got up in the morning I almost fell, fortunately I was able to support myself on the bed The breakfast was adequate while evening food was very good. The staff were first class"

"Check in was quick and easy, the room was clean but there was very little space and no coat hooks or hooks for towels in bathroom. The beds were uncomfortable (seemed old) and the single bed was very squeaky and made lots of noise every time my son moved. The hotel is dog friendly but costs an extra £10 per night. There was very little space for our dogs bed. The room was also very warm. The carpet on the stairs looked like it had not been hoovered in a long time. "

"The room was clean but bathroom and the room itself looked tired and needed a bit of decorative attention. The veggie breakfast was good and there was plenty to choose from. The staff were polite and friendly. "
