Julie took good care of us and was easily reached.The home is located within walking distance to many shops and restaurants, as well as a wonderful walk along the river. "We stayed one evening at the home, my daughter, husband and I. The house was not in a great shape from the outside. Large amounts of chipping paint and nesting birds causing a badly muck stained window (nothing like in the advertising picture). Once inside, the house is in better shape and overall cleanliness inside was good, there is some nice decor too. However, outside the patio chairs and tables are in need of cleaning or changing and there were two large bags of rubbish. I did complain...

"Ideal for a break for two persons, Nuthatch Cottage is a warm, comfortable and well equipped accommodation in a charming situation. Behind the cottage is a small stream with a weir and a view over a meadow occupied by sheep. The host is friendly and on hand to deal with any queries the tenants may have."
