"Black Diamond Retreat was a wonderful place for a family gathering. Both indoor and outdoor areas were spacious and gave everyone room to spread out and wander. We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit every evening and playing corn hole and bocci outside as well. Even though it seemed we were away in the middle of nowhere and very quiet, town was only a short drive away. Some of us did take and enjoy the Yuengling Brewery tour. "Quaint B&B right in downtown Pottsville. Within walking distance to the Yeungling brewery and many bars and restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable. There were even chocolates on the dresser which was a nice touch. Breakfast was served in the tea room. You could order your own meal which was a nice change from other B&Bs I have stayed in. As a tea drinker I especially enjoyed the large selection of teas. Lastly, the Innkeeper was very accommodating. We needed an earlier check in and she responded right away that it would not be a problem. All in all it was a very nice place to stay. "
