"Spectacular views. Clean, charming cabin, tiny but cosy and fully equipped. Welcome gifts, easy communication with lovely landlady Sarah, privacy, peaceful and serene. Hot tub was a huge bonus. Garden with furniture and bbq. Pristinely clean and safe for our small dog. Will be back. "
"Lovely old building but in need of general updating. Grounds and gardens lovely and very well kept with easy access to the river for walks. We booked ‘Deluxe’ double room but nothing like the publicity photos, comfortable enough though. "
"This was a stopover on the way to local sights in Wales. The room was a bit disappointing. We didn’t find it super clean, the ceiling was low(top floor room), bathroom small, shower didn’t drain well… with that said it was quiet and the little restaurant was decent. We had dinner and the server was very nice and made sure we had what we needed. The meal was ok. We have stayed places much better for less. "
"Excellent place to stay.
Everything was detailed and informed prior to arrival.
Clean room with all required amenities provided alongside and an good ensuite bathroom.
Free wifi in property and Functional TV with Freesat TV."

Discover Welsh heritage at the Heritage Centre, then venture to nearby Dolaucothi Gold Mines where you can pan for precious metal just as Romans did centuries ago.
"Lovely grounds, lovely upstairs suite, excellent breakfast, great pool area, hot tub not as hot as expected. Staff very helpful and friendly. Would stay again. Suggest you indicate in advance if you have mobility issues, as we loved being upstairs but did not know in advance."
"Staff very helpful, we were able to park nearby as the car park was a short walk away.
Service excellent, food very good, great atmosphere. Would definitely stay again."
"Excellent well appointed and very comfortable. The owners were welcoming and the extras in the room were a lovely touch. The breakfast was delicious with high quality ingredients and plenty of it. The communal lounge a nice touch with the honesty bar. Would highly recommend. "
"From start to finish the stay was exceptional. To add a little icing on the stay a Welsh male voice choir was present to sing before dinner. Rooms, Service, food all Fantastic!"
"The room was spacious and comfortable, plenty of room for me and my dog. The owners are very dog friendly which was nice.
Breakfast was unusual, being continental, but excellent and more than enough.
It is very quiet in the evening, especially sat outside on the communal patio area.
I would definitely recommend it."
