Room seriously needed an update. Hand held shower in the tub is poor in this day and age.
Food was good - had dinner both days and was well presented and tasty.
Staff were very polite and efficient!

We had a great stay. One of the best value hotels we’ve ever stayed in. Yes it could do with some TLC but for the price we paid, more than happy. Great breakfast and the spa was super.
An excellent breakfast.
I loved the pool, which was pleasantly warm.
Beautiful surroundings.
The staff were really welcoming and helpful.
Very good room with en suite bathroom.
This was a short break for us, just two days. Food was really good with portions rather too large for us pensioners. Great choice at breakfast. Lunch menu wide ranging: we had home made fish finger sandwich with chips, only £10. Puts Warners to shame. Will go again. very convenient for trips out, eg Steam railway and Brecon canal trips.

Staff were brilliant, rooms have been let go from a maintenance point of view. Food was tasty but very over priced, especially the breakfast. Would have made a complaint if I’d had to pay £18 for that had it not been included with the nights stay. Drinks reasonably priced though.
The locations is incredible, quiet under dark skies. Rooms are big, quality furniture and have the noise of the river to fall asleep to. Highly recommend.
We have been staying at Nant Ddu for a few years now and really enjoy the food, swimming pool and hospitality. Breakfast is delicious. We have stayed in several of the rooms and always comfortable, clean and quiet. The only niggle is small things like. Nowhere to hang your coat, towels or wet bathers in the bathroom and only couple of hangers in small wardrobe. We only stay a couple of nights, so storage not too much of a problem, but just tiny things like pegs on back of doors and perhaps towel rail in bathroom would make a big difference.

Nice looking hotel in a lovely location. It is conveniently located in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park making it ideal to get out and about either walking, hiking, and cycling in the surrounding area.
Waterfall country is about a 30 minute drive away.
Very friendly and polite staff.
Food was on the slightly pricey side but it was excellent quality.
Can’t comment on the pool, spa or gym facilities as we did not use them.
The hotel ceilings as well as the room we stayed in whilst comfortable and included all the amenities you could possibly need it does look worn in places and needs some work done.
The hotel could be amazing but unfortunately it is now dated and needs to be refurbished. The standard twin room does not have an overhead shower and the room was dated and shabby. There was no bottled water as stated either.
The room was also very hot and they do not provide fans as standard.
The pool is lovely but does need a little TLC and the showers in the changing rooms are extremely hot. As is the general temperature of the changing rooms.
There was an issue with scolding hot water from both taps in the sink and staff did sort this fairly quickly.
I would not the hot temperature water in the rooms is very hot and should have a warning note.
Also you are on a busy fast road, which is audible and tricky to pull onto.
The staff were lovely and very helpful.

Staff really helpful hotel room was nice and clean just tied could do with a update and digital tv
Great location for walking. The rooms and areas were a bit tired looking and worn, for example the towels were scraggy, there was no where to hang a towel in the bathroom, the lock on the bathroom door was dodgy, but the hotel staff in all areas from reception to the spa and the bistro were extremely friendly and professional. The pool area with the steam room and sauna although a little worn down was a nice welcome after a hike. The bistro evening menu, food and breakfast were all of a high standard. Would definitely stay again when I’m the area due to its central location in the Brecon Beacons. It was good value for money and friendly staff.
