Only criticism was that the room safe was not attached to anything. I (or anybody who got into the room) could have walk away with it. The location is excellent for getting into the tourist area and while it's in a pedestrian zone, our drivers were allowed to pull up to the front door. Would stay again."

"Had a lovely stay at the Occidental in Ljubljana. The hotel was perfectly located and the Old Town was a few minutes walk away. The bed was as good as I have had in a hotel. The shower and wifi were also good. Breakfast had a wide selection and set you up for the day. The staff were great. Thanks to the lady who greeted me warmly every morning and brought me scrambled eggs freshly cooked (sorry forgot name). Big thanks to Fatima who looked after our room and was very attentive. If we return we will definitely stay at the Occidental."
