We were met by a tall young woman who was very welcoming and friendly and I was invited to complete details into a machine, then asked to pay the cost of the accommodation there and then. "Worst experience ever at a hotel. To begin with we were handed the wrong keys for our rooms and given NO keys for entry into the actual building. This absolutely ruined the weekend as we were forced to sleep on the streets. We woke up and returned to the hotel with a cold and was given no apology or explanation just was told the door is now fixed and to turn the handle the other way. Good but can be much better.
"My stay was good. I would have loved if it were great. I had 2 single beds moved together to form a kingsize bed and being a couple using the bed. It made it somewhat uncomfortable rolling around the bed The buffet was good, unfortunately the machine doesn't have hot chocolate, you are left with either the choice of a coffee or tea - so if you are trying to stay away from caffeine with being pregnant, you have to make do with water or the apple/orange juice. If i wanted hot chocolate, they were selling it downstairs.. I have stayed in orher Novotels and i think this is my first experience with this. When the room is cleaned, the cutlery and glass cups are not cleaned, just left as used knowing there is no washing liquid that can be used to wash them. Would I recommend? Reluctantly! Could be great with a few emphatic steps. "
