Arrived at their apartments to sit there for more than an hour and wait for the apartment to get cleaned after coming inside the apartment the apartment stunk of fish and after you use the sink it’s stunk of sewers?Where we was waiting for the room to get finished we was screamed at by homeless people outside? We asked for a two bedroom apartment one of the bedroom didn’t even have doors on it? But apart from that it was okay very good location.

3 day stay at DReam Water Street
Apartment was really nice and clean and well situated for everything we wanted to do. Only problems we had were; no instructions for the hob (which locked itself!) and it took talking to 2 people before we got that resolved;towel rail in bathroom didn't work which we didn't get resolved. Minor problems though which would not stop us staying there again. Reception is not manned till 11.30am so if planning to leave luggage when checking out be aware of that.

Check in person had little idea about the process or property. Was charged 20 for offsite parking. When I finally found it huge sign says “hotel parking 9$” best part, printed voucher useless since machine only and had to pay another 22 to get my car out. Empty hotel middle of the week was given room right on the floor level with construction by my window starting 8am. Wish I stayed elsewhere. Sent email to manager regarding parking refund and only received an apology. Booo

Anything but ‘Dream Apartments’ during our stay.
From checking in to checking out we faced disappointment. We queued for half an hour to check in with our two young children. The reception had a foul sewage smell and litter scattered on the carpet. Two male members of staff were behind the reception desk, I presume they were maintenance guys as they wore the company logo on the jacket. One of the men had no care but to swear infront of customers Including my two young children on how f@&/n thirsty he was. After queuing for what seemed a lifetime at 3:10pm our room wasn’t ready and was told to return in 20minutes. We retuned at 3:47 only for it still not to be ready. We agreed that if we could just drop our bags we’d return later. The corridors were very untidy with bags of unwashed sheets left on the corridor. Our room was cold and decided to put on the heating only to find the heater rested against a wall. (The wall bracket was broken) We also found a dirty mess of food and hair behind it. Our bedroom light wasn’t working. Was promised four twin beds, we had 2 twin beds an 1 very small double. There was also a sewage smell in the shower. We were unable to watch tv as there were no batteries in the remote control. We will not be recommending The Dream Apartments to anyone as it was far from what was advertised

All apartments not in one building so have to walk 10 minutes up street with suitcase, 250 pound security deposit taken off your card is a bit high. Apartment was lovely though

The building has areas that are under construction, the lift is not available, and there was only 1 mirror in one of the bedrooms. A mirror in the bathroom would be advantageous

Definitely not a dream apartment!
It was overall a disappointing stay. The hotel did not fulfil its advertised responsibility - I booked and paid more for a room with city view but there was’t such a room when i checked in. The check-in procedure was disappointing too - i was moved twice to get a room that would somewhat meet my booking requirement. All this took 2 hours to complete; and the reason for moving me the first time round was ludicrous viz. they claimed the assigned room had leakage issue but we were shocked to see another group stayed in the same first room the next day. While i was given a bigger room than what I had booked, presumably as a compensation, the room was not ready in that there missing lamp in the living room, no carpet, the second bathroom had water pressure issue thus rendered it usable; Imagined a family relying on one bathroom for the duration of a 5-day stay. More shockingly, the hotel was still under renovation and would by any definition be deemed unsuitable for human stay because of the dangling cables, dust, water leakages, paint smell and many other issues which i will not mentioned here. The dust condition had triggered sinusitis among all of us. There was also no lift, hotel guests would have to lugged all their luggages up to as high as 5 floors. Even though room cleaning service would be provided for guests who stay minimally 5 days, our room were not cleaned at all. Worst, there is no phone In the room, guest would have to walk to the reception get the hotel attention

I booked a 2 bed apartment for a Halloween ferry party in Liverpool, had 2 confirmations for such, then a third for a 1 bed apartment, called and emailed, no response, so rang the night before and they rang back, got the 1 bed changed back to a 2 bed, that was fine, traffic was a nightmare, however the postcode given was for their other apartments, so after changing in their toilets for the party had to make our way to ferry, passed our apartment, dropped our stuff and ran to ferry, now all this was bad, however when we got back, the apartment was exactly what we needed, had it’s few faults, shower loose, a bedroom heater not working, but is exactly what I wanted, large, we’ll equipped and warm, clean and nicely decorated, for the price of 1 hotel bedroom, I will be looking to these again when in town. 9/10

Given one bedroom apartment instead of two bed for first night of our two night stay. Still awaiting partial refund for this nearly one week later. Apartments are nice and reception staff were helpful and polite, but if anything goes wrong communication from management is poor.

I liked the size of the apartment it was tidy, I was very disappointed that there was no internet the the first night, I paid £40 for a party pack it wasn’t worth £40 i left on Thursday and they still have not released my deposit I was told it would be done straight away

Very modern, spacious apartment with all the amenities. Although I did notice there was a lack of mirrors. There wasn’t any mirrors in the bathroom or en suite, only one in one of the bedrooms within the apartment. Very clean although noted and appreciate work was being taken out externally and internally in the apartment building. Very dusty and unclean windows but overall a fantastic stay and would definitely return!

> No prior notification that there was a walk between carpark and apartment > No lift in the building but placed on the 4th floor requiring us to walk up and down 4 flights of stairs every time we left / returned. > Both bathrooms' wall tiles were literally thick with dust, as if they had never been wiped since the bathroom was installed. > The room was number 406 but there were no proper or consistent room numbers on any of the doors. I had to ring down to reception from my mobile to ask if room 6 on the 4th floor was actually our room - it was!! > Some of the doors had no room numbers but had sticky labels on with e.g. 'Room 407?' written on them! > parts of the corridors leading up to our room resembled a building site > the main bedroom window wouldn't open > the lounge window wouldnt close > there was unfinished decoration in the room inc a plug socket > we found a broken drinking glass under the bed in the kids bedroom > we found a cigarette butt on the window sill in the kids bedroom > On checking in we asked the receptionist if we could have some more milk sachets and she said she'd send some up - she didn't. > ETC

Couldnt shut the bedroom door because bed was in the way windows didnt open no fans in any rooms none available t.v. didnt work no wifi room was on 4th floor no lift manager that was on in the morning had no customer service skills wasnt interested in my complaints. Also booked the apartment for 5 people only slept 4 so daughter had to stop at another hotel.

We had arranged to park in the car park that we were told belonged to Dream apartments - in fact it doesnt but they have spaces. We had the post code for this as wasn't immediately adjacent (5 mins walk but this wasn't explained). Managed to get the last space in this car park, and was directed 3 floors up to get a parking permit and then got directions to the apartment. The person at reception told us that there was a £25 surcharge for the sofa bed - not mentioned in any of the Hotels.com information, which we pointed out, and the charge was dropped. We paid £15 for parking as expected and then they asked for £150 deposit against any damage. The apartment is open plan and was clean except there were no clean cups - they had all been left unwashed in the dishwasher - so we washed these by hand so we were able to have a drink. I didnt sleep well, and found the bed hard, although my husband found it ok - there was some noise from surrounding rooms. Overall I wasn't too impressed especially as this has a 4 star rating and wouldnt be inclined to return

Great apartment for a weekend in Liverpool
These apartments are close enough to everything for a good central location without being disturbed by outside noise. Zara on reception was great and helpful at both check-in and check-out. The room was spacious, clean and well equipped for what we needed, so I'd be very happy to stay there again.

I checked in at dreams apartment and had to move apartments because bed sheets were not changed, also was told that 250 deposit would be pending on my acount and instantly released back on check out, i expressed that 250 pounds was all i had left to get back to london, to buy food ect. But in fact it come out my bank and still has not been put back in. Im now stranded at liverpool station. With no money no food and no other means of support. Other then the receptionist saying sorry im new here i dont no the procedures, but yet was happy to tell me that firstly my deposit would pend so wouldnt come out, but it did and secondly that it would instantly go back! Highly do not recoment this hotel to young people that are staying for one night that are not rich.

The staff on the reception desk were very friendly and helpful. The lift was not working though and that was not a good thing as it didint look like it was going to work anytime soon.
