"Does not have an elevator, and I'm disabled so I had to climb stairs. Also, due to the questionable area, I had to remove ALL my belongings from my vehicle and lug them UP to the room I was assigned. Will not stay here nor recommend this motel."

"The property has an opportunity for improvement, no utensils in the room, including cups for drinking. Same with the coffee kiosk in the lobby. Exterior of property had not been taken care of grass area had not been cut recently and was over grown. Sidewalks needed to be pressure washed."

"The room smelled horrible, it was dirty and had something splattered on the wall in the bathroom, bugs in the bathroom and very uncomfortable bed. The only place to sit, other than the bed, was a bench that looked like it came out of a bus, and it too was dirty. There was a big red stain on the floor and handprints on the headboard. The pictures online looked nothing like the room you are actually given. We would NEVER stay here again!"

"Husband got trapped in elevator for an hr and so called engineer named Angel, had no clue on rules and regulations on entrapment took almost 40 min to call fire dpt for assistance.. he thought everything was a joke , additional staff unaware of protocols on entrapments. Unprofessional staff. Ice maker broken on 4th floor. Room was decent. "

"So I'm in agreement with a lot of the other reviews I read. For the price point it leaves a lot to be desired. First the positives, the staff at check in was absolutely fabulous, and through the evening brought me ice even though it was only enough for one drink , and also hand delivered my doordash order later. Wish I would of gotten the gals name. The lady in the morning during check out wasn't nearly as friendly or welcoming. Now the negatives, for the price point I'd expect to be able to go get ice as needed once the lounge closed no ice available and since the mini fridge didn't cool at all when I ordered a bag from the store it just melted. For parking you have to park in the public structure across the street and if you arrive during a busy time no place to park in front of the hotel for check in so you have to match your luggage across the street. Then March back over to put your pass in the dash to not be towed. Very limited channel selection. The porch/balcony is actually just the wall way where everyone gets to the rooms so you have people walking in front of you constantly. 11 o'clock check out but the maids start coming in your room at 945-10 a.m. also I think the boilers can't keep up with morning demand as the hot water just kept going completely off and coming back on. Mini fridge had last guest items still in it. I felt the same about the blue lantern in dana point but at least it had a view. "

"Convenient location (boring main road but near the small downtown area). Friendly staff and pretty grounds - it's several small buildings around a courtyard with pool and outdoor seating. The bathrooms and many furnishings are quite worn - it feels quite overdue for a refresh. "

They’re genuinely kind, good people who make you feel welcome and taken care of without being overbearing. That kind of hospitality goes a long way.Overall, this place exceeded our expectations. Between the beautiful surroundings, the comfortable unit, and the great hosts, it’s definitely a spot we’d come back to. I recommend this rental to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay!"

"Really cute cottage, and near the highway and stores. It was nice to have our own parking place since it’s on a busy street. At times we could hear road noise, but it was not an issue in the master bedroom at night.We were here when it was overly hot out. We were able to turn the mini split on in the dining room, close the other doors, and just leave the master bedroom door open. This made it cool enough for us.Two coffee pots available, both 4 cup drip and Keurig, and plenty of kitchen utensils.The owner was very responsive!"
