"Clean room, although we had to change rooms in the middle of our two week stay. There were limited clean towels available in the morning but a staff members would come by in the afternoon and offer to secure us some. The beach was the highlight of the trip but my husband had to wake up at 4 am to go out and out our stuff on a chair to have a spot secured on the beach and even after all that we would wake up at 7 and come out to the lifeguards moving our stuff for people who would tip them for a spot. We went from april 3-15 (Easter and carnival) a busy time but the grill restaurant was only open once during this time and the Thai, and italian were on a rotating basis. This listing is a bit deceptive because it mentions 4 or more restaurants but really there are 2 buffets in the morning, a few places open during the day and the 3 restaurants rotate their closing with no communication to guests. You could literally walk across the resort and get to the Italian restaurant only to find out it’s not open and now you have to walk all the way back to the other end. I saw the pools being cleaned by lifeguards and skimmed in the morning but the pool by the lacklustre lobby and the pool by the water rental place were never clean. There were many memorable staff that helped with issues whenever they could but there was definitely a miss communication with work orders taking a while to fill. "Everything was good. The security at the gate i wasn't pleased with them. I was ready to leave and my driver car shut down. They ask for help to get a jump start no help was given. A stranger had to help us get out of the property. Then they kept asking me the guess questions like if i am a guet here. Otherwise from that i had nothing elses Everything else was good. I booked another reservation hopefully nothing will turn me off. Always love this place"

"The views of the cliff and the sunset was the best part of the trip. Staff were very accommodating and for that I’m very happy about. Staff are doing the best they can with what they are given, the place could use some improvement and remodeling on some of the units. There’s not a lot of food options if you choose all inclusive, so something to be mindful of if you choose that option and have dietary restrictions. This is not a fancy place, but it has all the charm and cultural vibes of Negril. Restaurants and beaches are close and you can get a taxi ride right from the hotel. Overall I really enjoyed my stay at Samsara Hotel."

"It’s just such a beautiful setting. Classic Caribbean style - and very chic! It’s a quiet and peaceful place on a beautiful section of 7 Mile Beach. Also, Monique the manager is excellent and she cares about the guests! I don’t come to Country Country to party; I come here to relax. I love the gardens and the rooms so much! Will definitely stay here again! (This was my second time)."

"Good amazing! Shantoy and Christopher exceptional! Rooms were okay- my building had a fencing that was broken and people were trying to climb fencing which scared us and our neighbors. Romantic dinner was delicious and beautiful. Overall good experience "

"The fact that this is a Jamaican owned property but prices were all in US dollars made us feel like Americans were more valued. The grounds are well kept, pool area was nice. Staff seemed happy enough. My husband could not get a coffe at the restaurant after breakfast was over. Having to give cards for towels at the beach was silly and if you lost the cards you have to pay $20 USD to replace the card was ridiculous. The rooms were very outdated and overpriced, beds are very hard. Honestly I would not stay here again. "
