Breakfast was pretty good. For the amount of money that you pay per night, the hotel should provide in-room complementary coffee. also, guests should have the option to put a “do not disturb” sign.

The hotel facilities are very good. We stayed in March so we couldn't take advantage of the many swimming pools, however the views from our rooms made this stay very enjoyable. It's close proximity to Sintra palaces make it an ideal place to stay.

Great stay and experience

Stayed here while on a family vacation. The property is beautiful with a stunning location and views. The rooms are spacious and clean, though one of our bathrooms had a peculiar smell that lasted throughout our stay. They have a great schedule of amenities and entertainment for the children. However I wish the areas had also been available for free play throughout the day, not just when the staff is there. Overall a great stay!

Delighted to return for the second time, our experience surpassed expectations once again. The kids' club activities proved to be a highlight for our children, providing them with entertaining and engaging experiences. Our experience as a person of colour

The hotel is beautiful and kept clean. The breakfast buffet is good too. The only sad experience is that people of colour are not truly welcomed there. We are a black couple and definitely felt ignored and alienated. Staff were more attentive to caucasians.

Easy access to highways and indoor free parking, great pools indoor and out. It has great activities for kids which I didn’t have with me and breakfast is a very nice spread . I have been here 5 times and the location , price, and free parking, also pools is what makes me coming back , when I travel to Portugal.

Para hotel de 5 ***** é fraco. O quarto não tem chaleira nem máquina de café. O jantar foi temático mas fraco. Na piscina interior não controlavam quem andava de touca. Na piscina exterior, a certa altura apareceram mais de 20 crianças com os animadores a fazer tal espalhafato que mais ninguem pôde ir para a água. A bagunça foi dentro e fora da piscina. Tal como eu, mais pessoas estavam incomodadas. Fora isso as instalções são boas e o pessoal simpático e atencioso.

Local lindíssimo em uma boa localização, porém acredito que isso não basta para um hotel 5 estrelas, fui surpreendido com um jantar de meia pensão menu pequeníssimo porque estávamos em baixa temporada e ao pedir para retirarem as malas, a resposta estamos sem pessoas, somente foi uma pessoa da recepção porque insisti mas quem guardou as malas fui eu.

Great but bring your own TP!

We had a relaxing stay at Vila Gale. It’s a beautiful property. The restaurant service staff were all great. However for a five start hotel the beds should be more comfortable and please get softer toilet paper! The toilet paper was so rough and cheap.

Een top locatie voorzien van alle gemakken en een gratis wine-tasting van hun eigen wijngaarden in o.a Douro waar we toevallig ook 2 dagen hebben verbleven. Ook voor kinderen is er vanalles te doen. Een goede locatie voor het bezoeken van Sintra of de kust.
