Located 900m from the center of the village of Sintra, the capital of romanticism and classified by UNESCO as a Cultural Landscape and World Heritage Site, the guesthouse is a 30-minute walk from the Pena National Palace and the Moorish Castle.
We have 4 suites and two double rooms, a large living room connected to the garden, offering several cozy corners to relax and enjoy an infusion from our garden after a day full of discoveries.
In our kitchen, you can discover the most varied flavors of our gastronomy and delight in the typical cheese tarts and pastries from Casa do Preto, which has been providing us with delicious moments since 1931.

  • I took this in March in Sintra, Portugal! It's at the fairy tale castle Pena Palace :). This is one of the lovely close-up views. It's is a Romanticist castle that stands on the top of a hill in the Sintra Mountains. And undoubtedly one of the most iconic places in Portugal. And a dream come true to visit it! It is a national monument and constitutes one of the major expressions of 19th-century Romanticism in the world. The palace is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the Seven Wonders of Portugal. It is also used for state occasions by the President of the Portuguese Republic and other government officials. Thanks to Wikipedia for help ;).
