Other things to keep in mind
Easy access by car, train or bicycle to Cascais (very beautiful historic center) and Guincho area (protected natural landscape with more beaches). There are bicycles (BICAS) to rent for free by the Cascais Town Hall at the beginning of the Cascais-Guincho bike path that justifies the beauty of the landscape and the route. Lisbon is a 20-minute train ride away, with Wall Station a 5/10 minute walk away, with access to Cais do Sodré, buses, trams and Metro to see whole Lisbon and its historic neighborhoods. Sintra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site is accessible by car, I advise the winch road through the protected landscape of the Sintra-Cascais natural park and past Colares (Sintra Mountains with marked walking and mountain biking routes) or by train going to Lisbon (Cais do Sodré, Metro to Rossio Station or pleasant walk through Lisbon (15-30 minutes) along the Tagus River there, passing by Terreiro do Paço Square (magnificent Lisbon entrance) with the Cais das Colunas overlooking the South Bank and the Christ the King.
