Welcome to Cherry Hill Schoolhouse—an 1898 one-room schoolhouse meticulously reimagined as a cozy, modern escape. Original bead-board walls and a vaulted ceiling meet all-new comforts: a full kitchen, comfy family room with electric fireplace and TV, HVAC mini-splits, washer/dryer, and thoughtful touches for couples, friends, or small families.
Outside, relax on the back porch, slip into the hot tub (open year-round), or gather around the Solo Stove at the fire-pit area. When adventure calls, you’re moments from Shenandoah National Park/Skyline Drive, the Appalachian Trail, Shenandoah River activities, and acclaimed wineries and cideries. Return to a peaceful, private yard where the night sky still puts on a show.

Guests enjoy the entire home and outdoor areas, including the hot tub (year-round) and seasonal pool. Prior to arrival, we’ll send a quick online liability waiver for hot tub/pool use (no extra fee). Access is via a rural gravel/dirt road; standard vehicles are fine in normal weather.

The schoolhouse sits at the top of a quiet dirt lane, reached by 1–4 miles of gravel/dirt road (depending on direction). Standard cars handle it fine in normal weather—just take it slow.
Parking: 2 spaces maximum, right by the house.

• 🍷 5–15 min → Local wineries & cideries
• 🌊 10–15 min → Shenandoah River outfitters (kayaking, tubing, fishing)

Rural mountain road: Expect 1–4 miles of gravel/dirt depending on approach. Drive slowly; conditions can change with weather.
Seasonal pool: Typically Memorial Day–Labor Day (exact dates may vary by weather/service).
Hot tub: Open year-round; please shower before use, no glass nearby, and replace cover after.
Children: Must be within arm’s reach at the pool and supervised at all times around the hot tub and fire pit.
Nature: This is the countryside—occasional insects/critters are possible despite regular maintenance.
Occupancy & parking: Best for up to 5 guests; max 2 vehicles.
