Beautiful old palace / villa. Great views of the lake and very nice walking paths. Great wine cellar but the Junior Suite is a must. Very high cealings and roomy. A bit out of the way but absolutely charming. Great staff.

We had a wonderful stay on our trip to Lake Como! This place is a hidden gem! The staff on site were incredibly helpful with us for planning our days. The property was beautiful, and we even had a view of the lake!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Palazzo del Vic Re and I must say, it was an absolutely exceptional experience from start to finish. It’s the perfect combination of an exceptional property spirit of hospitality! The staff genuinely cared about making our stay as comfortable as possible. We stayed in the tower room (Le Torre). Perfection! It was immaculate, spacious, well-designed, and equipped with all the modern amenities one could ask for, even had a washing machine! The attention to detail in the room's decor and restoration and cleanliness was evident, and it made our stay all the more enjoyable. It felt like I was taken back in time and the views made for a photo worthy backdrop. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The breakfast was nothing short of delightful, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious made to order options. We had the pleasure of a private tour from Christiano, the grandson of the former owner and an architect who thoughtfully restored the property. So many stories in this magnificent property. Don’t forget to see the wine bar and enjoy the private lake access with chaise lounge chairs and tables to enjoy your visit at Lake Como. Palazzo del Vice Re exceeded all our expectations. We look forward to our return to this exceptional property!

Absolutely beautiful hotel
This was one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in. Hotel manager Ariana is amazing and makes sure everyone is well-taken care of. Our room was absolutely gorgeous. It felt like a dream being there.

Sensational! Can’t wait to go back!!
Sensational. I don’t usually leave reviews but this place was something else and fully deserving of 5 stars! Lovely host & family history of owning the Palazzo; the attention to detail in the room restoration was superb; the views beautiful; quiet private beach and breakfast delicious. Hard to fault! If anything the pictures of the La Vista room on the website don’t do it justice!

Beautiful palazzo stone patio with flowers friendly helpful staff delicious breakfast options local cheeses beautiful area around the palazzo close to lake como and parks. Ferry service to Bellagio is tricky limited time options. Make sure to arrange private car or boat service to get to lenno varenna menaaggio. We had a wonderful stay. Ariana was very helpful!

A wonderful stay- highly recommended
Palazzo del Vice Re is remarkable. The views are amazing from every room and service was perfect. A lovely private beach also. A distance to walk to restaurants so probably best to have a car.

Beautiful nice property with a friendly staff and excellent breakfast. Nicely located on Lake Como, close to some phenomenal restaurants and a cute beachfront. Parking is a short walk from the hotel, so plan accordingly if you’re taking bags.

In the many hotels around the world I’ve resided, I can think of only one pair of words which barely encapsulates the unique attentiveness that this hotel gives its guests: conscientious hospitality. From the beginning, Ariana welcomed my wife and I to this freshly opened hotel as a relative would greet familial loved ones with open arms despite years of absence. The hotel is intimate in every sense of the word. There are only 6 rooms, of which ours was very spacious with beautiful windows and a panoramic view of Lake Como. Right up the street there is a bus stop to take you to Bellagio which has many shops and water taxis to other locations on the lake. Breakfast is served in a quaint dining room and outdoor garden patio with genuine homemade breakfast treats and omelette upon request. Ariana gave us directions, cleaned our room, conversed with us, and served us breakfast both mornings to again make it feel as though we were not just guests in a hotel, but guests in her home. I cannot emphasize enough what a gem Ariana is to this hotel and one of the best reasons to book this hotel over and over again.

A centuries old restored quaint palazzo right on the lake. Felt like royalty with huge roons high ceilings and beautiful furniture. Giant windows with stupendous lake views. Amazing breakfast included and restaurants nearby.

We can only praise the staff with their hospitality and friendliness. The place is beautiful and the area very quiet. There is a very nice lake front lounging area dedicated to hotel guests. They serve a great breakfast but there is no restaurant. Now, we need to provide the downside. First, if driving yourself, the hotel is difficult to locate and you need to call when near GPS location to know where to park. Also, there is only one restaurant (and no grocery/convenience stores) within reasonable walking distance, given the small width of road and limited sidewalks available. Thus, you had better plan well ahead what you will do each day for lunch and dinner. To visit other restaurants, you really need a car or taxi. Watch out for the motorcycles and bicycles, they make the narrow road dangerous and stressful.

Amazing place. Service was beyond the call. A heads up: taxi's are not easy to come by in Lezzeno. If you do not have a car, getting around is not easy. The hotel staff went out of their way to drive us to our restaurant and work with the owner of the restaurant to get us back. Lots of steps to navigate but worth it for the view.Very comfortable room.
