"This property was absolutely wonderful in every way. It is in the country so it was a very peaceful escape. There are hiking trails that go back into a beautiful woods with little buildings filled with interesting antiques. We were going to go to the state park, which is only about 10 minutes away, to take our daughter's senior pictures, but we just ended up staying on the property all day. We got lots of lovely pictures and felt like we were already in the state park. The inside of the house is well-kept and clean. There are antiques lining the walls so it was fun just taking time to look around the house. There were plenty of cooking utensils, pots, pans, containers, etc. as we do most of our cooking on our own. Mankato is just a 15-20 minute drive which has access to everything you could need. We were there for two nights and we felt like we needed two more days to see it all. If you are looking for a peaceful get away, this is it! We hope to return again sometime soon!"

"We loved our time at the lake house. It was a gorgeous property and had plenty of space for all 9 of us. The neighbors were so friendly and helpful, and we truly did not need to pack half of the items we brought because they were already provided in the home. The kiddos loved the beach and the water was so clean, making it enjoyable for the adults as well. We would highly recommend this property!"

It was very comfortable in every way and had fantastic appliances, amenities (soaps/lotions/coffee options/makeup towels - you name it), outdoor furniture, cleanliness, etc. etc. We would rent again in a heartbeat.Also - we were in the area for a large family reunion, and this rental was by far the best of the accommodations rented by our crew.Thank you, Amy, for an amazing stay."
