"A lovely well equipped property close to the beach. The weather was not kind for our stay so we spent quite a bit of time comfortably inside. The property had everything we needed for non beach/sunshine days."

"The hosts left so much for us to enjoy .. wine, orange juice, coffee pods, muesli, yoghurt, bread, honey, jam, etc. The accomodation is really comfortable with fully tiled bathroom .. and looks unique with lots of style .. Love seeing the kereru in the guava trees outside .."

"This large property is home away from home, with a well stocked kitchen, a very full linen cupboard and bathrooms with all the lotions and potions you may need. Added to this a fully fenced section for the dog and log fire and this place was perfect. Highly recommended, for the location (a very short walk to the beach) and a wonderful host who was very responsive."

"We had a great time there, able to play boardgames on the large dining table and go to the beach. Five bedrooms including 2 extensions giving on the lounge that had glass doors, ok for keeping an eye on children I suppose, but adults may feel less comfortable. Plenty of options for toilets and showers with a bathroom with toilets +shower, a separate shower in the laundry and separate toilets. Lovely front garden with well sheltered patio and succulents everywhere, we were enjoying being there...

"The bach was a short walk from the Foxton estuary and within an easy drive to the beach. It was well set up for a couple or small family stay with recommended cafe and takeaways nearby. The hosts communicated promptly and provided useful information about the locality."

"Wow, what a hidden gem tucked into the sandhills at Waitaere beach. A perfectly private spot for an extened family holiday. Beautifuly clean, great outside and inside spaces for kids and adults alike. We loved watching the sunsets while sitting by the fire and felt very privileged to have our own private path through the sand dunes to the beach. Will recommend to friends."

"We stayed here for a wedding across the state Highway at The Milk Station. It was amazing. Fire wood was provided and fully stocked which heated the main areas so well. There was extra bedding, 3 bedrooms, heaps of space in-doors and out-doors, and toys for my 6 month old and my nephew and nieces to visit. Traveling with a little one can be stressful but staying here took away some of that pressure as they had a portacot, cutlery, toys, a washing machine and all the essentials. It was a home...
