"As ever, my stay at this amazing cabin did not disappoint, from the attention to detail in the cleanliness, to the filled wood basket and already laid fire, which was even more appreciated as it was full on raining. The view never tires, nor does having a bath outside in the rain, listening to a thunderstorm. Rain, sun, storms and clouds don’t make a difference when you have a few nights here to unwind, relax, retune to yourself and just ‘be’. Going to book before they close for winter."

"This was a delightful place to stay and the hosts are so lovely to deal with. Really great for an extended family group like ours and bonus to be able to bring the dogs. The beach is great and the kids (and dogs) loved playing games through the wonderful high sand dunes. The youngest was very excited to get to see the water tank being filled by the big truck and the very nice 'water guy' answered all his questions. This is a great spot to enjoy some time together in a peaceful environment."

"This large property is home away from home, with a well stocked kitchen, a very full linen cupboard and bathrooms with all the lotions and potions you may need. Added to this a fully fenced section for the dog and log fire and this place was perfect. Highly recommended, for the location (a very short walk to the beach) and a wonderful host who was very responsive."

"We had a great time there, able to play boardgames on the large dining table and go to the beach. Five bedrooms including 2 extensions giving on the lounge that had glass doors, ok for keeping an eye on children I suppose, but adults may feel less comfortable. Plenty of options for toilets and showers with a bathroom with toilets +shower, a separate shower in the laundry and separate toilets. Lovely front garden with well sheltered patio and succulents everywhere, we were enjoying being there...

"Wow, what a hidden gem tucked into the sandhills at Waitaere beach. A perfectly private spot for an extened family holiday. Beautifuly clean, great outside and inside spaces for kids and adults alike.
