The information on the TV, was not up to date regarding costs of breakfast, ie increased from 14.5 € to 19€ bit expensive. No news in English available. Ambiguous literature regarding “ regarding the redemption of non cleaning vouchers”

This is a very convenient location in the center of the country, providing easy access to most destinations in the Netherlands. It’s right off the major highways as well. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and the hotel is in great condition. The rooms are very spacious.

No Longer A Reasonably Priced Breakfast, €19.50 PP
I have stayed at this hotel for the last 20 years and its has always been very reasonably price if you ever wanted breakfast in the morning. However, breakfast has now become extremely expensive as they are charging €19.50 per person!!!!

Well there are 2 van der valk hotels in Amersfoort. We didn’t book into the one we thought we had, but it was fine. Big rooms all with a balcony, nice bar and restaurant!

The location of the property is convenient for me. The hotel is conveniently located near the highway. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are large, clean, and well maintained. It was a pleasant stay and met my expectations.

Not happy with the quotation.
I was happy with the hotel, but absolutely not happy with Hotels.com. They confirmed to me one price and to the Hotel another one - higher. Of course they charged me that. Hotel helped me to solve the problem, but it took them almost two days to fix it.

Good value for money
I was upgraded from a Comfort to a Superior room. These are spacious, modern rooms with all mod cons, including a large smart television and an espresso machine. Because of a national COVID lockdown, services were limited but staff did their best to accommodate. Beds are very comfortable. The only thing to note is the hotel's location: in a business park with no direct access to shops or other services; however, there are public transit stops close by and both Leusden and the more interesting town of Amersfoort are close by. Very good value for money due to the upgrade, but even without that recommended for a stay that involves Central Netherlands.

The Business Hotel you never new you needed
Excellent Hotel, aimed at business class travellers. Pricey for solo or families, but supreme comfort and first rate service make it a tempting choice.

Great Hotel - Amazing Staff!
The hotel is undergoing a huge transformation at the moment which is helping to add an additional level of luxury to the property. A new impressive reception welcomes the guests where you are always welcomed by the friendly staff. The restaurant offers a good range of food and the rooms are comfortable and if you get an refurbished room modern and fresh looking. A great hotel for business and leisure alike

Perfect business hotel
I use this hotel on a weekly basis for my job currently and the staff are always friendly and polite, the rooms clean and fresh (and currently being actively renovated) and the restaurant provides a good range of dishes.

Clean, comfortable and friendly.
I was staying for business so it was adequate for my needs. They are going through some renovation work currently and so it is a bit of a lottery as to whether you get a modernised room or one of their older ones. I got an older one, but like I said it was comfortable and clean, just a little dated. As I was on business at one of the local firms in the business park I didn’t venture to far, but the surrounding area is mostly offices and so a cab ride would be required to head in to the more touristy places.

You stay here because you have to, not choose to
The hotel is very dated and the decor, condition and general feel of the rooms is somewhat depressing. It’s like stepping back in time and experiencing what a business trip in the 80s must have been like. There is no air conditioning in the rooms, which in itself isn’t an issue if you could open a window or balcony door; but you can’t as the windows are sealed units and the balcony door opens up onto a shared communial balcony across 5+ rooms. No facilities onsite to mention, however there are plenty of cycle tracks (this is Holland after all) and running paths in the immediate area. Cleanliness is lot to be desired. I personally only use this hotel due to its location, 2min walk from my client’s site, and the fact it’s limited to one night a week. On the plus side the reception staff are very efficient and polite!

Good choice for business travelers
A comfortable hotel, but one must become accustomed quickly to some awkward features, especially a main entrance on floor two that is not accessible by car, and lack of directions to indoor parking on level one. I would have rated my room 4 stars for space and quality of construction. However, the coffee maker seems no longer operational, Kleenex tissues were missing and, most importantly, the slippery floors of bathtub, shower and tub are a deadly danger to elderly persons. Protection by rubber mats is a must. A small business centre with two PCs and a printer would still be handy for non-business travelers. The excellent variety of buffet offerings makes for a good start of the day.

Fantastic new hotel ideally loacted just off the A28 North of Zwolle. Rooms are massive with beds very comfortable. Bar and Restaurant excellent with a great variety on offer. A bit pricey for a one night's stay but it was probably worth it

Good hotel, large rooms, great selection at breakfast. Rooms slightly dated but nothing to impact in the stay. Staff very helpful throughout. Ate in the restaurant one night and ther food there was fine. We were attending a conference nearby so location was perfect for our (specific) purpose. Just under an hour drive from Schipol

Great Getaway
This hotel is in the middle of the country and convenient for travel to the south or to the north. It is a business hotel and caters to business personnel but we enjoyed it very much. The bar and the restaurant were also very nice. It was very clean and the hotel personnel were very nice as well.

Service is great, staff are nice to deal with. Room is big but has seen better days. Double bed is not a Double but 2 Singles pushed together, this has occurred both times I have stayed. I miss having an ironing board.

Goods : Spacious rooms.. nice and clean.. Spacious free parking lot..nice free WiFi all around the hotel.. the hotel is only 2 mins (car) from the highway.. the area is on the center of the Netherlands.. where most of the areas are less than 90 mins drive. Bads: no A/C.. No windows to open.. only a balcony door that opens to a public balcony to share with the whole floor you're in. No public printer to print travel essential documents (tickets, reservations, etc...).

Just what I was looking for
In Leusden for a business trip? Well this hotel is perfect. It is conveniently located, comfortable and the staff are welcoming and efficient. The restaurant has a comprehensive menu and the servicing staff were a delight with good conversation. The rooms are simple but have all you need and a comfortable bed - could do with an iron, but was happy to collect from reception. All in all would recommend everytime.

Just short of the mark
Friendly and helpful reception, room a good size with nice view out the back, quick service from housekeeping, food as expected from a Valk hotel. However, room not air-conditioned so rather too warm, no plug in wash basin (provided after request), no face tissues in bathroom, only four hangers in wardrobe so room let down by lack of attention to detail. Barman was inexperienced but happy to learn, and most table service OK but one waitress was rather abrupt. I would stay there again, but only for convenience of location.
