** Relaxing ** Staff very helpful ** excellent facilities ** simple exit to ski area We used the Spa for relaxing massage. Leah was such a professional host and I felt great after her massage. I will be returning to this hotel for sure. 5* hotel and gave a 5* service. One area that could be better was the menu in the main restaurant. I suggest offering some classic dishes for dinner. Also a good idea to have salt and pepper on the tables instead of having to keep asking for them. This wouldn't stop me returning. Beautiful hotel and staff.

Excellent hotel. Rooms were clean, spacious and with great views. Reception staff were incredibly helpful before and during our stay - sorting out everything from ski lessons, passes, restaurant reservations etc. Good quality ski equipment from an on-site ski shop with super helpful staff working there.

Nice hotel good potential. Ski shop great and shuttle drivers great. Rooms don’t get “cleaned” and sheets and towels not changed unless ask. Staff not helpful and spa is extremely poor. No staff no towels, not open on time. Asked front desk for help many occasions and got nothing. Live music once in a blue moon so don’t be deceived. Bar staff efficient. Outside balcony and no atmosphere or music. All staff do all jobs not really sure who’s incharge here. Ski in ski out very narrow in and out. Wouldn’t stay here again.

Very good stay. Loved the ski in/out direct from the ski room with a very helpful ski shop staff. The room was a great size and fabulous views with afternoon balcony sun. The pool and sauna are a bit tired. And so were a few other common parts and the breakfast was more 4 star than 5s. But overall very good. And thanks to the General Manager who was always very welcoming

Over priced and over ranked The staff r nice but in the area the service is zero, so for them it s good. Very far from main, not convenient, stuff doesnt clean good. U can rate it 3.5 not even 4. Price is sooooooo high for such a hotel, nice building yes but the service is not 5 stars at all.

Amazing Hotel, The location is not in the center but they have a Shuttle service that can drop you and pick you up from everywhere at anytime. The only feedback I have is that the Jacuzzi in the amazing SPA is not hot enough, sometimes it felt almost cold. but other then that it was AMAZING

Most of the staff was great, helpfull and nice. A few were not, almost rude. The facility is great, comfortable, clean. Does it justify the cost. No! We booked very late, so didn't have a choice, but if you book early enough I don't think this is hotel is worth the cost

The staff were amazing and did their best to make our trip a wonderful one. They accommodated all of our requests always with a smile. The facility is absolutely amazing, you can see that they thought about everything.

Ski in - ski out hotel with great food and drink. Rooms were large, clean and comfortable. Amazing staff who go out of their way to help and assist to make your stay more memorable. 5 Mins walk from the center of Village which is nice, hotel have a free shuttle that would drop you off and pick you up if require.

This hotel is run by one of the most professional staff teams that I have ever encountered. Without exception every employee that we dealt with went out of their way to be helpful and courteous. It seemed that nothing was too much or too difficult if it meant the guests enjoyment of the hotel was increased. In addition extra touches such as laying out your skis out in the snow ready to jump straight on, or serving your dinner in the lounge so as not to miss the world cup game were greatly appreciated. Excellent facilities and gourmet dining complete the package. Well done guys. We were impressed!

Overall the hotel was excellent, friendly staff, good food and great facilities. The ski-in-out experience was superb but not suitable for learners. The children’s playroom was a little cold and soulless and could do with an update. The carpets in the rooms could use a really good hoover. The chef was more than happy to provide infant meals and portions, very welcome. I would rate the overall experience as 8.5/10

THE SHUTTLE TOOK 40 MINUTES EVEN THOUGH THEY SAID IT WILL BE THERE ANY MINUTE. I KEPT CALLING ONLY TO HEAR THE SAME ANSWER. WHEN IT FINALLY ARRIVED MY GIRLFRIEND WAS SICK FROM BEING OUT IN THE COLD. WE COULD'VE TAKEN A CAB IF THEY TOLD US IT WILL BE THAT LONG. I TALKED TO THE MANAGER AND HE SAID HE WILL CREDIT MY CARD $300, HE NEVER DID SO I HAD TO DISPUTE THE CHARGES. NOBODY WANTS TO BE LIED TO ON VACATION!!!!

Super stay for serious skiers
Location with ski in/out was fantastic! The complimentary shuttle service was super too. The young man who checked us in/out was helpful and very friendly. However, one of the young ladies at the front desk was not so friendly and even a bit off putting. Breakfast was tasty and staff was efficient. Overall a nice place to stay!

great ski in ski out. spa was pleasant if staff a bit unwelcoming. having everything on site was great the ski hire shop were awesome so helpful. slight language barrier as i only speak English. ( reported a oyster that was off, the girl serving basically ignored me.

Val Thorens luxury retreat
Excellent 5 star resort located at the top of Val Thorens ski resort. Ski in / ski out with great ski shop and amazing service. Delicious breakfast to start your ski day. Beautifully equipped and and extremely comfortable contemporary rooms. A must in Val Thorens!

Amazing hotel. Everything is there- amazing room, amazing SPA (very expensive SPA treatments unfortunatly) wonderful ski shop to rent the ski equipment, amazing food, ski in ski out. Outstanding service. Will be back for sure.

Incredible hotel from the staff to the rooms, to the little details that made this home to us during our time at VT. Rooms are spacious and luxurious while also warm and cozy- if you can get a view of the mountain it’s unbeatable. Services such as ski in/ski out room and shuttle around town made enjoying the mountain easy for us. Great breakfast selection, spa, etc. Most of all- staff are wonderful! Helpful, approachable and warm. Thank you!

Nice hotel, lovely terrace with magnificent views , great ski shop with friendly and helpful staff , ski in / ski out , relaxed atmosphere , bar and restaurants excellent but food and drink pricey. Overall worth considering for your ski holiday in VT.

Amazing stay in a flawless hotel
We went to this hotel as a couple looking for a weekend ski escape. The experience we had was even beyond our expectations. The hotel is amazing, the facilities flawless, the position on the resort perfect and the staff irreproachable. We loved every minute of it, would definitely go back!

Modern Ski in/out Hotel
Second time in Kohinor brought more controversy . Impressive posh interior of the fireplace/bar/lounge area discords with some visible decoration lapses in elevators, walls and spa area. Michelin guide home restaurant represents a very limited and neverchanging assortment of main courses/sets , 2nd "international" restaurant is only available for halfboarders. Breakfast zone is tiny both in size and food choice . Flavored with notoriously slow and sometimes arrogant waiters my overall perception of food facilities turned mostly negative. After 2 days of inhouse dining we always preferred to look more reliable and pleasant spots outside. Spa and pool were OK, though they are rather small (just 2 basic saunas) and a modest pool. However location is great, rooms were nice and cozy , with excellent views; ski shop and ski room absolutely fantastic + always friendly and professional stuff. Eventually if you are looking for convinient skiing and accomodation in Val Torens - Kohinor is ok. But in order to get a 5-star service , dining and spa relaxation - better find a different place or go somewhat lower to Couchevel.

WOW!
WOW!! If there is a better ski hotel, then I am yet to find it! After reading some reviews I was slightly concerned - these soon vanished. I can safely say it is the best service I have ever had, hotel is beautiful with great rooms. I have stayed in a lot of places that claim to be 5* but this has set a new benchmark for me. I could not recommend any higher!

Great high location with terrific view.
Great beautiful brand-new hotel. Staff was very kind and helpful but not very experienced. The room was comfortable, well-designed with nice view, only thing we missed is a little coffee/tea kit in the room. Spa is extraordinary. I will return to this hotel.

The hotel was very clean, although I do not entirely agree with its 5 star rating. The staff are very welcoming (especially the manager) however they did not mention the additional cost of changing the ski equipment (upgrading ski's to advanced). The breakfast was enjoyable, although get there early as the service is very disappointing from 0900-1000 (had to lay our own table) and the scrambled eggs seemed to be out of a packet. The rooms were clean and tidy although lacked in simple finishing touches like a shower head holder and kettle.
