"Good location for visiting surrounding area. Accommodation adequate for 2 people but for 4 a bit of a squeeze. Stairs to bedroom quite steep with small landing and light switch behind door. As bathroom was on ground floor we found it easier to sleep downstairs. As owner did not speak any English we feel more information about the local area, doctors, chemists,shops etc would have been useful. Overall we had a pleasant stay."

"A very enjoyable holiday. The gite was well equipped and comfortable. There was a pool on site, but due to weather conditions we didn’t manage to use it, although it looked very clean and inviting. Olivier and Edmonde were very welcoming and although they lived on site and were there if we needed them, otherwise didn’t bother us. It was a good location to explore the many pretty villages of the Luberon and further afield. Too much for us to do in one week."

Cecile was very welcoming and easy to communicate with in French or English, and very accommodating with regards to arranging arrival and departure details. "There was one downside of this place - the creeping service fees which are not declared on the Vrbo profile. The website announces that bedding is provided, but then the owner writes to you to ask for €10 per person for sheets and towels. On arrival, you are told to use a screwdriver to clean the shower drains of hair before you leave. Then on departure, with minutes to spare, you are told to clean the whole place yourself or pay another €50. It’s not unusual to ask for a cleaning fee, but...

"I loved the location, right across the street from the old city. There was a grocery store next door, very convenient. The property seems to be student residences as well as hotel and has laundry facilities, safe bicycle storage, recycling, an exercise room and breakfast for an extra fee, which we didn't do. The bed was comfy, the kitchen was fine, the shower was great, the room was very spacious, but with a characterless, unadorned feel. Still, over all, good value. "
