"We apologise for not writing sooner. We really enjoyed our stay at Mas de la Lavande (July 14th-21st. However, we encountered problems with the hot water. In total, we were without hot water on 3 days during our 1 week stay which we feel is unacceptable. On both occasions we contacted the owner's son, who had welcomed us and provided his mobile number in case of any issues. Hhowever, we received no response. "I loved the location, right across the street from the old city. There was a grocery store next door, very convenient. The property seems to be student residences as well as hotel and has laundry facilities, safe bicycle storage, recycling, an exercise room and breakfast for an extra fee, which we didn't do. The bed was comfy, the kitchen was fine, the shower was great, the room was very spacious, but with a characterless, unadorned feel. Still, over all, good value. "

"The area does not feel safe. Although it is on hotels.com, it does not have a 24 hour front desk. The check-in time is 3pm - 7pm. The place does not provide an alternative check-in method unless arranged before hand. We were traveling during the day without connectivity and were not able to receive their email.
