"This is our 5th time back to the Haven we keep coming back here as it’s in a great location -nice hotel though a little aged good for the price- my wife and I always book the one bedroom pool villas as it’s very private and quite - though there are two communal pools the one at the back of the property is generally less occupied."

"Found the property required some minor upkeeping and maintenance though after 5pm the place was barren, dead. We did experience an issue with our room initially where it smelt quite humid, and we were later moved. The resort did not have any functions after 5pm at all other than host a private 5-year-olds birthday function for someone who was not a hotel guest. We were looking forward to dinner and drinks with live bands by the pool till say 9pm? Staff generally tend to speak Balinese and not...

"We have stayed here around 5 times. Still a great older style hotel with good rooms, great location and adequate breakfast. Superior room bathroom is looking a bit tired. Upgrade is required to replace tiles and grout. Breakfast could be improved with freshly made pancakes, bacon and an automated coffee machine."

"Villa Kayu Raja is in a good location, but not really walkable to restaurants or the beach, especially at night. The sidewalk ends a bit before the villa, so you’re left walking in the busy street. The villa itself is nice, but I was unimpressed with the private pool. It is very small and the yard itself is deceiving in size from the pictures. Virtually no sunlight comes into the pool area as well, so the pool is a bit chilly and you aren’t able to do any sun tanning. The price is a bit steep...
