"Breakfast could be better. Never saw the manager. The soft boiled eggs only egg option were not soft boiled. Clear yokk still. Potatoes cold. No water dispenser. Called manager iI was told only eggs prepared on the weekend. Had to micrwave my eggs after figuring to where the toaster and microwave were behind the counter. I was handling things to the point another guest gave me their room because they thought I worked there. Helped others on what was going on."
"A sweet little cabin near the Yuba River and Nevada City, CA. We stayed for Thanksgiving weekend. The kitchen is modest, but we found everything we needed to make an amazing Friendsgiving feast! And we brought a few of our own tools just in case. We enjoyed the hot tub off the back porch under the canopy of oaks and pines. We loved playing games in the warmth of the "wood" stove (gas). The property is wild and wooded with 3 cabins of differing sizes - Papa, Mama and Baby. We saw hawks, deer, squirrels and turkeys. There are trailheads nearby and Nevada City is a 10 minute drive for sundries, restaurants, etc.. We had a very peaceful and quiet time here."
"Rustic cabin had everything I needed - comfy bed, full kitchen, and heat. Because it was a bit chilly, I didn't get to use the patio or grill, but looks like it would have been nice to sit and enjoy with privacy. There were paths to walk along the river. I would definitely come back to check out the little town, but also to continue the amazing and scenic hiking a short drive away. The PCT crosses right through the ares! Also, very dog-friendly. "
