The property photo is misleading and what you see in the photo is a facade hiding an uninteresting 3 storey motel-like brick building. The room is basic however it is immaculately clean with a good shower and comfortable bed. Great view from the windows of the room I stayed in. I was on the top floor and stairs are the only means of access. No lift. Overall, I would stay here again.

Chocolate wrappers from a previous guest were stuffed behind the bed head. No face washers supplied. Power points inconvenient. Shower nice and hot but tap needed constant adjusting. Bed very comfortable. Room spacious and neat, but the thought of the wrappers grossed me out during the stay.

The rooms are good size and relatively clean but noisie all the doors have self closes that all squeak loudly the car park is a bit of a hill climb and we’re a bit to much for a few who smashed into obstacles one person fell down the stairs and broke his arm so be careful lots of them

It was quite small and showing its age. However the bed was very comfortable. There was no toaster cutlery or crockery but was quickly made available upon request. Very close to main cbd for fining options. If you want a cheap overnight stay and can look past some of age issues it’s quite okay

Property suited us for last night In Launceston before flying out early next morning. Spacious, friendly check in. Great view from our room. Located on a very steep hill so if you have mobility issues this might not be the place for you.

We spent 3 nights at the hotel and the room was very comfortable with nice views across the city. The big negative for us, as seniors, was that the property was on a steep slope so we had to be very careful walking. The other thing was we were on the 3rd floor - no lift, which meant carrying suitcases up several flights of stairs. York Street is very steep so walking anywhere had its challenges.
