"We liked that it was a block off Lake Superior. Even though it was old,, we didn’t mind that. But the carpet was dirty and torn, only HOT water n the shower, the bed was hard but the bedding was clean!!!!"

"We had a great week at the house. Pauline was easy to communicate with and she troubleshooted an issue with us very quickly. We loved the location being half way between Munising & Marquette. There is also a small waterfall a couple of miles from the house that our kids loved. Plenty of space in the living room and kitchen. Very nice upstairs balcony. Big yard also with a nice spot for an evening campfire. "

"My wife and 4 kids, aged 7-16, stayed for nights. PROS: We loved the location, easy to get to Marquette and other sites. Kids loved the table games. Kitchen was well stocked with all kinds of utensils dishes, etc and things, like a soft-sided cooler we could bring along for picnic lunches at waterfalls. CONS: honestly not much, There are some little things that could be improved, we used the pool table a lot, and while we loved it, it was wobbly. A little more comfy seating in the main room might be nice to watch a movie together. Not sure how often lawn is mowed, but it made our croquet game adventurous! There was stand up video game that did not seem to work (plugged it in and did not see to start). OVERALL, great place, accurately described, and would definitely book again. Check out and Check in super easy and communication was very good. Would recommend for a family a friend gathering!"

"It was great. Easy check in. Lovely location on the river. Amazing. The electric motion couch was so relaxing. Didnt need the air conditioner on, the river was with a nice breeze. Had a campfire. It was great. "
"I cannot say enough about Cindy and her properties. We have stayed a few times now and she always makes us feel at home! From the minute we got there the kids were outside exploring everything there was to see and do! The cabin was absolutely perfect for the 8 of us and we had so much fun checking out Au Train, Marquette, Munising, Christmas, and even went through Pictured Rocks National Park to Grand Maraise! I am already planning my next trips! Cindy is an incredible host and she made sure we had everything we needed, my kids especially enjoyed playing with her grandchildren during our stay! None of us wanted to leave at the end of the week. We love Au Train and all of the wonderful friends we made there! "
