"We thought this property was overpriced for the space. No breakfast unless you wanted to order it and make it in your room. Our room did have a kitchenette but no utensils or pans. Found out later that they were available at the front desk. Not sure if there was a charge"

"The view from the deck of this home is amazing. But it gets better. The swing at the property's edge provides a spot to enjoy the beauty of Lake Superior. The home is older. If you want contemporary, this is not your place. If you are about location, location, location - ample room for the family or friends to gather - this is your place!"

"The Foxhole was perfect for my kids and me. We spent most of our time at the beautiful beach just across the highway - most days we were the only ones there. It was never crowded. The kitchen had the appliances and dishware we needed. Morning coffee was enjoyed on the back patio and some mornings on the beach as I watched the sunrise. We had a couple of cozy evenings in the cabin and a couple in Marquette and around the Foxhole fire pit. I emailed the owner a question the week before our stay and she answered me right away and was so kind in her response. I would recommend this cabin in a heartbeat."

"This cabin is perfect for people (like me) who love the nature part of camping but don’t want to sleep in a tent. It’s right on a private lake and close to tons of great hiking trails, including one with a waterfall, just down the road. The cabin was comfortable for our party of 4 adults, but the setup would work well for people traveling with kids, too. It’s off-grid and we were conservative with use of electricity, but never lost power, WiFi, or hot water. The host was very responsive and gave us great suggestions for things to do and places to eat. If you book, I suggest bringing some camping chairs for making s’mores around the fire pit, as the outdoor furniture was located elsewhere and bulky to move. We ended up picking up some in town and were glad we did! We had a great time!"
