The cleaning services were difficult. Every day we had to remind the front desk to clean the room and the last day the cleaning wasn't done at all. The surfaces in the main room weren't wiped and the coffee cups were never replaced. I felt taken advantage of and will avoid staying here in the future.

The price and availablity was the factor to reserve, found it very old and dated, single pane windows, window a/c with wooden frames around windows. Coffee maker still half full of coffee, Wi-fi useless. Terrible parking for sledders, what you see in pic is all the parking. Staff whom was onsite was friendly enough, but the facility sorely lacking. Not a place for couples or kids!!! If it didnt snow I would have left the next morning and paid somewhere else for a different room even though i paid for weekend.

Give it a try
This is a cool little place and a great little town of latchford. Although the motel doesn't look like much from the outside it is very clean and accessible. Staff is great and attends to all your needs.

We stayed here for one night. We were really disappointed in the condition of our room. The carpet was really dirty, the comforters had grease stains and food bits on them. The extra blanket in the drawer had tons of hairs on it. The bathroom door handle was broken. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and you can hear every car and truck that drives by.

Nice little motel. Clean rooms. Friendly staff
I often stay at this motel when on vacation and every time it is a positive experience. The rooms are clean, the location is convenient, just off Highway 11. The owners are very friendly and accommodating - that matters a lot to me. I've never had problems checking in or out and they've been very flexible with the timing. Definitely the building is not new, but it is well maintained and the rooms are clean, with no odors. The bathrooms are clean too, there is plenty of hot water. The towels are white and very clean. I will definitely stay at this motel again. Thank you.

There was no parking available when we arrived and had to park down the street (not sure if this is common to happen). The shower had two temperatures, burning hot or freezing cold. There were house flies in the room. We were only really there for a place to sleep and shower, it did the trick. It was located in a good spot which made it easy to find.

Room had little kitchenette. But, only 2 towels & 1 facecloth for 2 people, bed was hard, 2 flat pillows, no outside lights at night to go up outside stairs to our room on second floor, staff stood outside with friends carrying on at night. Would NOT recommend to other people.

This motel was amazing! Beautiful area, the lady who checked us in was smiling and happy, making jokes. They accommodated to us checking in late because we had to deal with Toronto/Barrie traffic. It was overall a very nice stay, the room was cozy feeling, the beds were just right!

Better than sleeping in the car. I think I visited there in 1983. Nothing appears updated (except wifi, well done!) door to hallway broken, hole in curtain, exposed insulation in room, weird comforter, jet powered air con, old old old and run down. Thankfully they didn’t serve breakfast

I found the staff friendly but generally unprepared for COVID, and I did not feel safe at this property. The place is in a state of disrepair. The room was on a slant, the toilet didnt work, the sink leaked, and there was visible damage to all walls, the ceiling and floor. The fridge did not keep to temperature, spoiling my food. There were bugs getting in somewhere. The door to the room was mounted on a hodgepodge of spare wood with no extra chain for security. Blinds did not properly cover the windows. I realize this is a roadside motel, and for the price and area, perhaps I should adjust my expectations. And I will repeat, the staff were friendly and tried to help when I reported a problem. But I won't be going back.

This was our second overnight stay this summer. Great value for the money...clean, lots of room. Everything you need...except breakfast. I can never locate a WiFi signal though

The lady who is the Manager was a very nice person. What I was disappointed about was the fact that the room were really outdated. The room had wallpaper and panel, the wallpaper was peeling off some places and had not been done for very many years, the paneling was also very old and coming away from the wall, the TV was right out of the early 80' that also did not work very well, not to mention the room was small. That said, one thing they had going for them was the fact that although it was really outdated, it was clean and the bed was comfortable. Unfortunately I would not stay here again and if it was full everywhere close by I would continues my travels to the next town...Peace
