"The owner is sweet and accommodating. She has none of the fale friendliness found at so many hotels. A great hotel for us older folks who still prefer old school manners. "

"Very nice old home with early 20th cent. era specific decor and furniture, the host is very personable. If you’re in Susanville, I can recommend coming here."
"The building has been recently renovated, therefore it's clean and has nice features that make it cute. In addition, they offer breakfast included in the price. The breakfast room is also neat... Good experience!"
Charming 3-bedroom house with AC, WiFi in fantastic Susanville
10/10 Excellent
"Very clean, pet friendly and easy access to everything we needed. Kitchen was fully equipped with everything plus more then what we needed. The snack tray was a plus and a nice touch. The neighborhood is nice and well kept. "
"This is an amazing ranch property owned by a multigenerational family who stayed to fight the recent wildfire and saved the area around the ranch. This is as close as you can get to the Yellowstone (series) experience in Northern California. This vrbo is a basement studio under a ranch family member's residence, so expect some noise from above. He is very friendly and has a chill dog. The bed is one of the best we've slept in! The hot spring (basic metal tub setup with a deck and chairs) is on the ranch property nearby. You can only find it using the instructions inside the room as it's located on the ranch area across the main road and behind 2 cattle fences and across a tiny wood bridge. 4 wheel drive vehicle is advised but we made it without bottoming out in our Tesla Model 3 to both the dock location (free kayaking) and the hot spring during the dry summer, but would not try it if mud is possible. You will likely be alone at either location unless another guest or family member shows up.A 120v outlet is near the parking area so we were able to trickle charge the EV and made it back to the Sacramento area with no problem and also drove to Lassen Volcanic Park Bumpass Hell trailhead whole there. Fully charge in Truckee on the way here for best range."
