"Havelocck place est un hôtel situé au calme d’une impasse. C’est avant tout un lieu plein de charme mais un peu vieillissant. Tables de nuit instables, pas d’interrupteur sur la lampe de chevet ( il faut faire le tour du lit pour enlever la prise!). Petite courette qui pourrait être sympa mais inutilisable car sale et chaises rouillées. Par contre, le personnel est vraiment charmant et au petit soin. Petit déjeuner copieux au restaurant Gini dans l’hôtel. "

"Staff were fabulous, super helpful. Room was beautiful and pool area was great with a big enough pool to actually do some laps. Breakfast was really great, plenty of options for everyone and really good food. Only think I would say, I had sea view room on 18th floor, there was music event on the beach both nights so was very loud in room which meant I couldn't get a good sleep. If I stayed again I would go for a lake view room as this would likely be quieter, for the amount of time you actually spend looking out the window at the sea.... better to get a quiet sleep. The hotel has direct access to the Galle Face Mall which is handy. Note that the ATM in Mall doesn't always work and the hotel doesn't have one. The hotel seems to have a lot of events and the Tiki Bar on the roof was closed for private event when I was there which was a shame. I really loved this hotel though and would stay there again."

"Convenient location. Room was clean. Staff were helpful. Hotel needs an update. Shower went cold within a couple of minutes. Road noise was prominent and loose external fixtures need to be repaired. Balconies were a good addition but external parts of the building need cleaning"
